This is the first time I have ever used a forum for help, and today is the first time I have used Hijack This, so please excuse me for any errors I might make.
I have been getting a popup for the last few days that appears as a warning that I need to scan for problems. Whe I close it, a new popup appears, that looks like an ad for a virus scanner. I close that, and the problem is gone, for about 15-20 minutes, then repeats itself. Last night, I found an alert on my screen from Norton that a threat was found, and not able to be resolved, for "Downloader. Trojan". I tried the usual fixes, thru Norton, then I even went into new territory for me, and backed up 4 registry keys, then removed them.
Once that was done, I ran Norton again, and, bam!, two threats now are present, "Downloader.Trojan", and "Trojan.Vundo". And now, instead of one file and four registries, it says 39 registries. So, I downloaded Hijack This, and the following is the log:
