Hello Spencer and welcome to TomCoyote forum. I will tell you a few things. We only need a HJT log unless we request something else. As you can see we are very busy and all volunteers and I just do not have the time to investigate all running processes. I can tell you this, look at the running processes, then see what is 04 "RUN" in the bottom of the log. If it is not a program Windows needs to run, or something dealing with your security, chances are it does not need to "RUN" which means it starts at every bootup if you will be using it or not.
use this information: http://netsquirrel.com/msconfig/ and these links to help you decide:
http://www.answersthatwork.com/Tasklist_pages/tasklist.htm
http://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup_index.htm
http://computercops.biz/StartupList.html
http://www.sysinfo.org/startuplist.php
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/startups/

If you do not need that Yahoo search item, you may use HJT to remove these items like this:
Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://us.rd.yahoo.com/customize/ycomp_adb…/search/ie.html
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

These items are were clutter and since your HJT log is clean, here is some great information from Tony Klein, Texruss, ChrisRLG and Grinler to help you stay clean and safe online:

Keep up the good work
