Spyware Problems, Slow Computer, & Virtual Bouncer

Hello,

My computer has become infested with spyware program upon spyware program. I'm at the point where I cannot use my computer at all due to frequent pop-up ads, ads which replace the browser window I am using at the time, and programs loaded into my computer (such as Virtual Bouncer and Trend Micro [is this a good program or a bad one?]). As a result, my computer is very slow to respond to any "real" command, and, in short, nothing works. I don't want to be afraid of my own computer, and to have foreign companies exert more control over it than myself. If you can help me in any way, I would be most grateful.
