Can't view Hijack this log

Hey….i just got nailed cuz i'm an idiot and clicked a link in MSN that downloaded I believe multiply viruses.

I ran About buster which found nothing, I also ran spyBot search and destroy, adware 6.0 and AVG virus scanner (free version). Then i ran Hijack This but it kept crashing on me really quickly for some unknow reason….I actually got 1 log to print out but now when i open it, it closes b4 i can copy it.

After many attempts….my quick fingers got the copy/paste LOL PLEASE HELP ME OUT IN ANYWAY

Please download the latest version of Hijack This!

CLOSE ALL WINDOWS (even this one) AND PROGRAMS!!!!

Run Hijack This!
Click "Do a systen scan only".
Then "check" the box to the left of these item(s):

Then click "Fix checked" and close Hijack This!.

Now, please go to:

Start –> Run

In the box type in services.msc then hit < Enter > (or click OK)

In the Name column for:

Network Security Service (NSS)

< Double-click > it.

In the dialogue box that pops up, check in the Path to executable box.

It should say: C:\WINDOWS\system32\msxg32.exe

That's how to be sure you have the right one.

Now, click Stop to stop that rogue process.

In the Startup type box, change it to Disabled.

Click Apply then OK

Close the services.msc window.

Reboot in "safe" mode.

Delete all of the following noted (in red) file(s)/FOLDER(s) you can find:

c:\windows\system32\msxg32.exe <— file

Some malware files may be "hidden".
Be sure to show hidden files when looking for these file(s) and/or folder(s).

Reboot in normal mode and "copy/paste" a new log file into this thread. :)

this doesn't look good, the other csrss.exe doesn't show up here…..and safe mode worked to run HT but i only fixed 1 of the highlighted lines…the others weren't there…..anyways..still foolin around….get back to me thx addman

soo…that 04 startup csrss doesn't show up in startup ht…..it's the only way i can do it cuz it shuts down so dayam fast….now i'm getting frustrated

Unzip it, but don't run it yet.

Copy the file names in the quote box below to the clipboard by highlighting them and pressing
C (hold the key down, then press C):

CLOSE ALL WINDOWS (even this one) AND PROGRAMS!!!!
Run Hijack This!
Click "Do a systen scan only".
Then "check" the box to the left of these item(s):

O4 - Startup: csrss.lnk = ?

Then click "Fix checked", and close Hijack This!

Run to Killbox, click File (in the upper left of Killbox), and choose "Paste from Clipboard".

Click the red dot with the white X in it, in the upper right of Killbox, then click "Yes", and "Yes" again.

After the reboot, "copy/paste" a new log file into this thread. :)

well i can only get 1 of the 4 links(bitdefender) and when i tried to run it, it was going to take like 45 minutes..i wanna get this solved b4 waiting for that. My performance graphs have lots of RED spikes….what is that and i'm assuming that is caused by all this mess? thx bud

Post a new log file. If/when we get all the visible nasties out of the log, maybe you can try the online scans then? Or I could give you the link/instructions to Ewido Security Suite. It'll kill lots of things. I shy away from having people install programs unless they are necessary.
