Hi Sam, Welcome to TomCoyote forum. This log is fine. Are you having malware issues? If not here is some great information to keep it that way: Here is some great information from Tony Klein, Texruss, ChrisRLG and Grinler to help you stay clean and safe online:
http://forums.net-integration.net/index.php?showtopic=3051

If you are having malware issues I can run some scans to look for stuff HJT can't see. If you wish this please give me more information, at least symptoms and any error messages you are receiving, anything else you think might help.

Thanks…pskelley

Thanks ps. The symptoms are when I am using Internet Explorer, it is extremely slow and bogged down. When I enter an address directly into the address bar, it takes a long time, if ever, to get there and appears to not respond at all. I have downloaded and used firefox, and this works great, so the problem appears to be isolated to IE. I had assumed it was spyware. I am unsure of malware, does this sound like it may be? Your assistance is appreciated. Thanks, Sjohnston
Hello, I kind of lump all of the negitive junk under one banner, here is the Google for the word:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&oi=…=define:Malware and one other: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malware

Here are a few things to try before we start time consuming scans:

http://windowsxp.mvps.org/IEFIX.htm

http://www.tipsdr.com/internet-explorer-6-tips.html

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=318378

Some information may be duplicated, perhaps something in these links will help. I suggest the System File Checker first, I have had success with it when my browser was dragging.

Another wise move would be to post here, mention that your HJT log appears clean and link them to this post if you wish.

Let me know how you make out. Thanks…Phil
