What sould I do with the back ups the HJT created?

I will do some checking and post again later.

As long as this file doesn't exist:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\ssvhost.exe

It's a "moot point" anyway.

We're just cleaning things up a bit.

This is a valid and necessary windows file:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe

Leave it alone.

Please disable Teatimer in this fashion:

• Open Spybot and click on Mode and check Advanced Mode
• Check yes to next window.
• Click on Tools in bottom left hand corner.
• Click on System Startup icon.
• Uncheck Teatimer box and Uncheck Resident.
• Click Allow Change box.
• Look at the right hand corner of the screen to see if the icon for Spybot resident is still there. If it is, click it and choose Exit.

Remove the registry entries and reboot.

Re-enable Teatimer.

Make/post a new log file.
