I hope this is the right place -thank you for your being here.Keep your chin up Tom help is on the way
Hello gordo419 and welcome to TomCoyote forum. I see nothing in the log that should be causing you any problem other than some clutter which we will remove. To remove it you will have to turn off these two programs until you are done. You can leave the stuff if you wish, just tying up a spot on the drives, perhaps CCleaner will remove in under Applications?

You will need to turn off Microsoft AntiSpyware and SpybotSD TeaTimer.

Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

NavExcel search hijacker

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

I suggest a good cleaning with: http://www.ccleaner.com/ Make sure to clean under both tabs and also "Issues" using these instructions: Run CCleaner, when you run the registry cleaner (Issues) you will be prompted to backup before you can remove stuff, make sure your do.

Is this a valid item?
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [BTCLiveUpdate] "C:\Program Files\LiveUpdate\LiveUpdate.exe" /autostart

If everything above is OK, and you have no problems there is no need to post again and here is some great information from Tony Klein, Texruss, ChrisRLG and Grinler to help you stay clean and safe online:

If there is an issue and you wish me to run scans to see if I can locate it, then post a new HJT log with as much information as possible including any error messages word for word.

Thanks…pskelley
