Hello watson and welcome to TomCoyote forum. You did not mention if you have any kind of a problem? I see a couple of things to remove, please do this:

1) Download CCleaner from this link: http://www.ccleaner.com/ Review the instructions on the download page and please do not run it until I ask you to.

2) Download, update, configure and run these two programs: http://tomcoyote.org/aawsb.php Please do not activate TeaTimer until we are finished with the repair.

3) Turn of SpySweeper, it will block the HJT changes: Open the program
Select: Options (on the left)
Select: Program Options
Uncheck: Load at windows startup
On the left, click: Shields, and uncheck all there items
Uncheck: Home Page Shield
Uncheck: Automatically restore default without notification
Don't forget to turn it back on for your realtime protection.

4) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {CD67F990-D8E9-11d2-98FE-00C0F0318AFE} - (no file)
O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} (RdxIE Class) - http://software-dl.real.com/0975020f529160…ip/RdxIE601.cab
Netster: Nasty

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

5) Run CCleaner, when you run the registry cleaner (Issues) you will be prompted to backup before you can remove stuff, make sure your do. Then restart the computer and post a new HJT log in this same thread along with and feedback you have. If you are running ok I will have some great information to help you stay that way, if you have a problem, I need to know what it is, as much as you can tell me about it and any error messages you are receiving word for word.

Thanks…pskelley

Thank you for responding so quickly. The reasons I am seeking help is a past problem with Norton, I've removed maybe all now. My computer is slow, this may be because it is an el cheapo E-machine but I try to be careful what I have in my computer. I have had memory added. I have Frontier as a phone line in reallyreally rural West Virginia, and the line isn't so good any time. My ISP is out of Cumberland, MD really great people. But to download is a joke. As I was trying to download today I was down to 0.8 K a second, my connection is only 26.4 Kbps now. My ISP said buy some software to download while I sleep! I am doing a lot of building with sawdust flying around and dust, doghair etc. I put my computer away (take it all apart) into a container to avoid too much stuff in the body. I need to go to the library to print the instructions for the software you suggest, I had adaware but changed the setting to comply, but I still want instructions in front of me before I start. My printer is still packed away in storage. I will go to the library in Romney tomorrow and print all the instructions then contact you when I have it all. Again thank you very much for helping.
It's a small world, I was born and raised in Cumberland until around my 17th year (long time ago). In fact I was just there for four days and visited a favorite cousin in W.Va. If you know the area, my father owned the tavern when you go into the Cumberland Fairgrounds for years before he passed away. Phil's Tavern…lol.
I understand the locals are trying to set up an inexpensive DSL for the area but don't know if it will apply to you. You can probably get some info here: http://www.cumberlandchat.com/cgi-bin/Chat.cgi just register free and post away.

Thank you for responding so quickly. The reasons I am seeking help is a past problem with Norton, I've removed maybe all now.

You are welcome, I can't help much with Norton, but I can show you how to get anything left off the computer. What are you using for an ISP? Hereintown? I can also say that you did not show much in the way of malware. The 016 Netster is some nasty adware and I would get rid of it right away. The 09 is just a dead line from old RealPlayer I think. Since I know you don't have access right now, post an email address and I'll add you to my contacts in msnim. I will also edit out your email as soon as I get it and I can perhaps help you a little in msnim when time permits?

Safe surfing…Phil
OK, I finally downloaded spybot, went to another site and used Explorer insted of Firefox browser. Ran both programs, only found doubleclick adware. Ran HJT remover the first 2 items , could not find the 3rd in red? Ran the cleaner, saved the log. Not sure if it improved the slow dial up, so slow I can't stay online 3 hours at a time. Here is the new HJT log.
