Hello bens dad, Welcome to TomCoyote forum and sorry about the wait, extremely busy. I do not see a lot wrong in this log? There are a couple of orphan entries we can remove with HJT but the are just empty entries. I will remove them but I do not believe they would slow down your computer downloads. HJT can't see everything and I would be glad to run some scans to see if something is lurking if you wish. You might want to discuss your download speeds with aol.

Try a good cleaning with this tool: http://www.ccleaner.com/ Here's a tutorial to help, if you clean your registry make sure you backup first: http://www.ccleaner.com/help/tour1.asp

I see Spybot, use this link to download Ad-aware and check to make sure Spybot is 1.04. Configure the programs as in the link: http://tomcoyote.org/aawsb.php

Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {549B5CA7-4A86-11D7-A4DF-000874180BB3} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file)

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

as I said those are just empty items but your spyware programs may stop the HJT removal, if so turn them off and run HJT again.

I see nothing else that is not valid, and would be glad to run run some additional scans if you wish, but my opinion is that your issue lies elsewhere, probably your ISP.

Thanks…pskelley
