Hello Ashleeanna, Welcome to TomCoyote forum. You do have some nasty adware that needs to go and perhaps some other junk. We have a few things to do first. Please follow these instructions:

1) You appear to have removed your HijackThis? I do not see it in this log. Use the instructions in these links to download and properly position HijackThis.exe.

2) This software: C:\Program Files\Common Files\eAcceleration\eanthology.exe is reguarded as rouge software, see this:
http://castlecops.com/startuplist-8872.html and this:
http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm Please Uninstall this item in Add Remove programs.

3) I believe you would be better served if you were to use the most recent versions of Ad-aware and Spybot as they can get to places HJT cannot. Please use this link: http://tomcoyote.org/aawsb.php to download, update, configure and run these two "big guns" and allow them to remove anything bad they locate. Both programs provide backups for your safety. ***note: please do not activate Spybot TeaTimer until your computer is clean. Run Spybot first and reboot between the scans. It is good to run both programs at least twice, and run the "Full System Scan".

4) Post a new HJT log in this same thread. DO NOT remove HJT, we will be using it later. There will be more to do. Please add any comments you think I should have.

Hi Ashleeanna, You have used an old verion of HijackThis :( I need to see the log with version 1.99.1. Post a new log please and I do suggest you delete the old verion as it will no longer be used. Unless I am out, I will post to your thread soon after I see that log. I wanted to add that the log is positioned properly, you can update it from within the software like this: Open HJT > Open the Misc Tools section > Scroll to Check for update online > Follow instructions. OK and thanks for the new log, let's proceed like this:

1) Download CCleaner from this link: http://www.ccleaner.com/ Take the time to review the instructions on the download page so that when I ask you to run it you will know what you are doing.

2) TeaTimer will block the fix, turn it off like this: http://russelltexas.com/malware/teatimer.htm
AntiSpyware by McAfee and SpywareDoctor will also need to be turned off. You do not need to be online while using HJT. Since your spyware programs are off, it would be best you waited until you activated your security again before going online.

3) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Hi Ashleeanna, That is good to hear, one line did get missed:
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = C:\WINDOWS\about.htm
Did you miss it? I hate to ask you to turn off your spyware programs again :( It's up to you. I would like to see it gone, but I do not think it is causing you any problems. If you need detailed instructions for it's removal, let me know. The balance of the log is clean.
