Hello dcthbrt;

I see that you have posted in the past concerning slow startup problems.
I'll be able to tell you if your Hijack This log is clean, but more than that, I'm not so sure.

Actually, this particular forum is mostly devoted to solving problems with Hijacks, Viruses, Trojan Horses and assorted Malware, but not so much to deal with operations difficulties. Possibly you would be better served to select another forum here at Tom Coyote that deals with the type problem you seem to have.

You are using Nortons, which is known to be quite demanding of system resources. That alone could slow startup. I would further suggest that you have a close look at what else is actually running at startup.

You might find the answer to your problem by using the following link and carefully reading what is there.
http://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup_index.htm

I see no problems in your Hijack This log.

Protection Recommendations:

If you dont have these three FREE programs I would recommend that you get them. Spywareblaster, Spywareguard and IESPY AD. They will add 1000's of sites to your resticted zone and block some hijacks from happening.
Glad we could be of help.
