We are sorry for the delay in replying to you. If you still require help, please post a fresh Hijackthis log as a reply to this thread. I'll receive an e-mail notification of your reply and will respond as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.
i fixed one of the problems in my first log, the vb2sys.dll file, now the only problem i still have is neededware.com keeps coming up in this as an 015 entry. For some reason now it is not showing up, but i did nothing to fix it. It is constantly opening up IE in the background and causing other stuff to minimize. Thanks for the help in advance. Hello Oaf and welcome to TomCoyote. :wavey:

Step 1
Open HijackThis, run a scan, then check the following:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {549B5CA7-4A86-11D7-A4DF-000874180BB3} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: WinStat - {EE02B99B-1D55-48bc-B8DB-649A42CE45F6} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\WinStat12.dll
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FDD3B846-8D59-4ffb-8758-209B6AD74ACC} - (no file)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Launcher] launcher.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [lzanmt] C:\WINDOWS\System32\lzanmt.exe

With all other programs and browsers closed, click fix checked.

Step 2
Please set your computer to show all files.
  • Double-click My Computer.
  • Click the Tools menu, and then click Folder Options.
  • Click the View tab.
  • Clear "Hide file extensions for known file types."
  • Under the "Hidden files" folder, select "Show hidden files and folders."
  • Clear "Hide protected operating system files."
  • Click Apply, and then click OK.
You will need to reverse this process when all steps are done.

Step 3
Please delete the following files/folders:

C:\Program Files\KFH << Whole Folder

C:\WINDOWS\System32\lzanmt.exe << File Only

If you have any problem deleting these items, reboot into Safe Mode (tap F8 during bootup, use arrow keys to select Safe Mode, then hit 'enter') and try again.

Step 4
Reboot normally. I see that you are running msconfig in /auto mode which means that you may have selectively removed some items in the past from the startup procedure. This can be bad if they are malware, so we would like you to re-enable those startup entries by doing the following:

Please click on start < run, and type msconfig and then press enter. When the window opens click on the startup tab and make sure there are checkmarks in every entry. Then press ok until you are out of the program. If it asks to reboot, do not reboot.

Now please create a new Hijackthis Log and post it as a reply to this thread. You may now uncheck all of those items again in msconfig.
Please let us know of any complications you had and how the computer is behaving.
Ok, I removed those entries in Hijack This, I deleted lzanmt.exe but i noticed there is also another file in that directory called lzanmtaeg05.dll. There also isn't a folder named KFH in my C:\Program Files\ directory. I enabled everything in the startup tab and here is my new log. Step 1
Click on this link http://www.downloads.subratam.org/KillBox.zip to download Pocket Killbox by Option^Explicit. Extract it from the zip file then double-click on Killbox.exe to run it.
Start Killbox and click on Tools < Delete Temp Files. When that finishes, copy and paste each of the following lines into the Full Path of File to Delete box in Killbox, and click the red button with the white X on it after each. Keep track of any files it tells you either could not be found or could not be deleted, as you'll need those later:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\lzanmt.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\lzanmtaeg05.dll
C:\WINDOWS\System32\kzo.exe
C:\DOCUME~1\Aaron\LOCALS~1\Temp\msshed32.exe

For the files that it either couldn't find or couldn't delete, in the killbox again this time, put a mark next to "Delete on Reboot". Copy and paste each file into the file name box, then click the red button with the X after each. It will ask you if you want to reboot each time you click it, answer NO until after you've pasted the last file name, at which time you should answer Yes.
If you get a "PendingFileRenameOperations Registry Data has been Removed by External Process!" message then just restart manually.

Step 2
Make sure all items are checked in msconfig on the startup tab. Open HijackThis, run a scan, then check the following:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [lzanmt] C:\WINDOWS\System32\lzanmt.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [kzo] C:\WINDOWS\System32\kzo.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [atiupdate] C:\DOCUME~1\Aaron\LOCALS~1\Temp\msshed32.exe
O4 - Startup: I.url

With all other programs and browsers closed, click fix checked. You can uncheck the items again in msconfig.

Step 3
Reboot normally and scan with Hijackthis. Post the new log as a reply to this thread.
Please let us know of any complications you had and how the computer is behaving.
I did everything as you posted and here is my new log, so far everything seems fine. Thanks.

Your new log appears clean. :)

Reset and Re-enable your System Restore to remove bad files that have been backed up by Windows. The files in System Restore are protected to prevent any programs changing those files. This is the only way to clean these files: (You will lose all previous restore points which are likely to be infected.)

1. Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
2. On the System Restore tab, put a check mark in the 'Turn Off System Restore' check box.
3. Click OK, and then click Yes.
4. Restart the computer.
5. Repeat steps 1 - 2, this time clearing the box beside 'Turn Off System Restore', click 'OK'.

I suggest that you get these programs to help keep the computer clean:

Spyware Blaster - Blocks bad ActiveX items from installing on your computer. Spyware Blaster runs silently in the background.
SpywareGuard - Real-time protection from spyware installation attempts
ie-spyad - Puts over 8,000 bad URLs into your restricted sites for Internet Explorer.
Google Toolbar - Blocks many unwanted pop-ups in Internet Explorer.
Firefox - 'Safer' alternative to the Internet Explorer web browser.

Here are three very good and free malware scanners:

Spybot Search and Destroy 1.4
AdAware SE v1.06
Set-up Instructions for Spybot S&D; and Adaware SE
a² Free Trojan Remover

If you have them already, check to make sure that they are the newest version.

Update these regularly.

You may also want to read "How did I get infected in the first place" to learn how to better secure your computer.

Be sure to keep Windows and your Anti-virus updated.
