I feel like all I have been doing with the scans is going in a pointless circle because when I perform them they all log close to the same results/information and most won't allow me to delete or cure what they are reporting. Even when they post that auto removal of a certain virus has occurred, it is there again as a problem with the next program scan's results. And, I do reboot my machine after each scan. What I have noticed since starting this last scan sequence is the appearance of more adware/spyware/virus entires on the scans and I am getting more error pop-up messages, plus the system is shutting down in the middle of things.

I had trouble getting through several of the scans but managed all of them after multiple tries except for the BITDEFENDER. I was never successful in downloading even after my efforts in using their troubleshooter guidelines. I was not certain what to delete with CCRASHER so I deleted everything it scanned out.

EDIT: (CCLEANER, not crusher…sorry) EDIT: (not crasher….you can see this is getting to me! )
I have a question I need to ask before any deletion steps are sent to me because I am not completely understanding the instructions of what to do once I enter the SAFE MODE access screens to delete files once I remove them from the hijackthis log list. I Reboot the system, hit F8, SAFE MODE SCREEN appears. Then I am prompted to select my system type from a list. On my list I see only my WINDOWS XP choice so I select it. Next I am to try to find certain files and delete them. This is where I don't follow what to do because what I see is a quick list of C:\WINDOWS files, but I am not able to use my mouse or arrow keys to try to scroll and find the file names to delete them from that list. I actually didn't see any of the files I was to delete on it anyway. It then goes to the usual desktop access screens. So, I resolved that what must be meant is for me to go to C:Drive and locate the file folders there and delete them. I found only one, "PSof1", but it gives me a pop-up message that says: "CANNOT DELETE….ACCESS IS DENIED." Am I in the right place to be deleting these bad files? I am anxious with your next instructions to know exactly what to do so that we can show some progress since my system is most definitely showing more and more signs of the garbage getting in and taking over. Always something new…like today….in my PERSONAL email messages there were colored/underlined links that I had not put there myself and when the words were were clicked I all of a sudden was rerouted to an oline site with a related word….weird.
I can see that you would be getting frustrated. Let's do some scans again then we can clean them out manually.

Step # 1

Please download and run CWShredder. Make sure that all browser windows are closed with the exception of Cwshredder and choose FIX.

http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloadget.php?…7fd6b3ff02edc90

REBOOT

Step #2

Please download and run Spybot & AdAware SE Then follow the instructions in the link below to run.

Spybot & Adaware Tutorial

REBOOT

Step # 3

Then do a virus scan here >>> Trend Micro

Reboot and post a new HiJackThis log.
SCAN RESULT INFO:

CWSHREDDERv2.15: 0 Restored; None Infected: Removed CWS.Hidden Dll

SPYBOTSD13.exe: Hooray, it works nicely now. I think I had the wrong program downloaded previously (SPY DOCTOR?). Removed all it found.

ADAWARE: Removed all it found.

TREND MICRO HOUSECALL: 105 infected; states C:\WINDOW\system32\vidctrl\vidctrl.exe was unable to be cleaned because it was currently in use; states the following found were noncleanable: TROJ. ——-QOOLOGIC.D; DLOADER.KM; STERVIS.C; STARTPAG.QY; SMALL.APE; BUDDY.F; SMALL.AMT; SMALL.AAL; CLICKER.AD; BRDUPDATE.D; DLOADER.FN; DROPPER.CP; DLOADER.OT

Go to c:\ and create a new folder called qoologic. You can do this by going to C:\ and then right clikcing your mouse. Click on new and then folder and create it. Then click on the the link I supplied. Choose save and then browse to the new folder you created and click save. Now in the folder you created you will see file called "find_goologic.zip" double click on it. It should open with winzip. You will see 2 files in winzip. Left click "strings.exe" then click on Extract at the top and extraxt it to the folder and then do the same for "goologic.bat" Close Winzip. Next go back to the goologic folder you created. You will now see those files. Double click on goolic.bat and it will run. When it is finished look for the file called C:\log.txt Open it and then copy and paste the contents here. Clear as mud ;)
