I am not having any problems now. Following HiJackThis directions eliminated two obvios problems causing warning flags at startup. After seeing how many spyware were attatched to my computer while I was using MS Beta, I wondered if something could still be tracking and reporting. Thank You for your help.
You can do the below and see if they find anything. Be sure to run as per instructions.

Download CWShredder from my signature below. Unzip it on the desktop.
Open CWShredder and with ALL other windows closed, click fix.

Go here and run at least one of the online scans, allow them to delete whatever they find:

TrendMicro HouseCall
eTrust AntiVirus Web Scanner
Panda ActiveScan
Note any thing that can't be fixed
Reboot when done.

Next:

Even if you've already run these, make SURE they're up-to-date and run per instructions.

Make sure you have the up-to-date versions of Spybot V 1.3 and Ad-aware SE Build 1.05 . All are free and available below.

Download Spybot, install and update. Then download Ad-aware, install, and update.

Spybot:

Install the program and launch it.

Go to Start > Programs >Spybot > Search & Destroy and choose Spybot S&D

Close ALL windows except Spybot S&D
Click the button to "Search for Updates" and download and install the Updates.
Next click the button "Check for Problems"
When Spybot is complete, it will be showing "RED" (RED) entries "BLACK" entries and "GREEN" (GREEN) entries in the window
Put a check mark beside the RED (RED) entries ONLY.
Choose "Fix Selected Problems" and allow Spybot to fix the RED (RED) entries.

Ad-Aware FULL SCAN:

Install the program and launch it.

First in the main window look in the bottom right corner and click on Check for updates now then click Connect and download the latest reference files.

From main window :Click Start then under Select a scan Mode check Perform full system scan.
Next deselect Search for negligible risk entries.
Now to scan just click the Next button.

When the scan is finished mark everything for removal and get rid of it.(Right-click the window and choose select all from the drop down menu and click Next)

Empty Recycle Bin

Reboot and "copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.
Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
Thank You for your help. Here is my second log. My computer speed seems OK. I re-installed FSecure anti-virus because it wasn't updating and removed JAVA_BYTEVE. With System Restore turned off I used Shredder, SpyBot, AdAware, House Call, MS Beta, FSecure, CA, and manually deleted every regestry entry I could match.

SpyBot can not remove 2 entries of BackWeb Lite.

CA shows

DIVX PRO 5.1 Adware.

MySearch Toolbar

Lime Wire Adware

TightVNC Comercial RAT

KaZaA P2P

Com.com tracker cookie

My computer seems to be working fine. When I rebooted a flag popped up saying, BackWeb Lite error code 4476822

Let me know if I am still not following all your directions.

C:\DOCUME~1\JONPRI~1.JPZ\LOCALS~1\Temp\Temporary Directory 1 for hijackthis0.zip\HijackThis.exe

You still have HJT in a temp folder. We are going to remove temp files, so if you don't move it, you'll need to download HJT again.

Important: Do this before any fix.

Please put your HijackThis in it's own folder, (I create a new folder in C:\ named HJT).
You can do a Right Click on any open area on the desktop, New> Folder, then rename the folder HJT.

Go to where your HijackThis is and Right Click on HijackThis.exe, select Cut, then open the new folder you just created (HJT) Right Click in the folder and select paste.

My computer seems to be working fine. When I rebooted a flag popped up saying, BackWeb Lite error code 4476822

That's part of F-Secure. You can open SpyBot and restore those items. Note that SpyBot will continue to want to fix those.

I suggest you do this:

Run hijackthis. Hit None of the above, Click Do a System Scan Only. Put a Check in the box on the left side on these:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {5C8B2A36-3DB1-42A4-A3CB-D426709BBFEB} - (no file)

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [UpdReg] C:\WINDOWS\UpdReg.EXE

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MSMSGS] "C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe" /background

ALL 016's. They'll come back if needed,

These aren't bad, but are resource hogs and not needed at startup.
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [CTStartup] C:\Program Files\Creative\Splash Screen\CTEaxSpl.EXE /run

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [TkBellExe] "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Real\Update_OB\realsched.exe" -osboot

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "C:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe" -atboottime

Close ALL windows and browsers except HijackThis and click "Fix checked"

Restart in Safe Mode:
Restart your computer.

Press F8 after the Power-On Self Test (POST) is done. If the Windows Advanced Options Menu does not appear, try restarting and then pressing F8 several times after the POST screen.
Choose the Safe Mode option from the Windows Advanced Options Menu then press Enter.

Double-click My Computer.
Click the Tools menu, and then click Folder Options.
Click the View tab.
Clear "Hide file extensions for known file types."
Under the "Hidden files" folder, select "Show hidden files and folders."
Clear "Hide protected operating system files."
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Open C:\Windows\Prefetch\ Delete ALL files in this folder.

Do this also if these Temp Folders are part of your OS.

Also in safe mode navigate to the C:\Windows\Temp folder. Open the Temp folder and go to Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder.

Next navigate to the C:\Documents and Settings\(EVERY LISTED USER)\Local Settings\Temp folder. Open the Temp folder and go to Edit > Select All then Edit > Delete to delete the entire contents of the Temp folder.

Finally go to Control Panel > Internet Options. On the General tab under "Temporary Internet Files" Click "Delete Files". Put a check by "Delete Offline Content" and click OK. Click on the Programs tab then click the "Reset Web Settings" button. Click Apply then OK.

Empty the Recycle Bin

Reboot and "copy/paste" a new HijackThis log file into this thread.

Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
I hope I have the folder right this time. I didn't see a flag when I booted. A program files window opened on desktop start.

Now you have the old version running. Just update as follows.

You need to update your version of HijackThis. Open HJT> Open Misc Tools> Pull the side bar down> Check for update online.

After the update.

Reboot and "copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.
Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment
When I am at Auto Furums the light in my mouse flashes bright on and off. Must be a heart beat. I suspect the forum is loaded with spyware. IE seems very slow to open any new page. Could be slow conection speed. Cox is working on slow and lost connection in my area during the past week.
Thank You for your patience.

If you dont have these three programs I would recommend that you get them. Spywareblaster, Spywareguard and IESPY AD. They will add 1000's of sites to your resticted zone and block some hijacks from happening. I also have a FREE FIREWALL and FREE ANTI VIRUS if you need one.

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system.

Keep your system up to date and run Adaware & Spybot, once a week works, and hopefully you will be ok from here on. Both are available below.

Safe Surfing. :D
My computer works great. I am amazed with all the junk we removed. I show 3% gain of free space on 120gig disc compared to when we started. The only real issue is that when I reboot a program files window opens when I start the desktop. I installed each spyware tool you recomend and took a look at AVG. I am still useing F-Secure trial with firewall and MS firewall. ActiveScan will not work on my computer. Possibly ActiveX restriction. I also did not succeed installing Panda Titanium 60 days ago. I am waiting for a second email from Panda. Anti Spyware programs were preventing Active Scan from opening. They may still be preventing the scan from starting. I have not noticed my mouse flashing constantly or occasionally like it has in the past. What I have noticed previosly on the forum is that key words in the text become highlighted, launch surrounding related advertisement, and every item mentioned in the text generate mulitiple listings on Ebay. I appreciate all the time and experience that you have provided to help me. Thank You!

. Can you tell me what program this is?

. Is this when you are searching for a key word?

Keep in mind you should only have one Anti-Virus program running, or it can cause lock-ups and crashes.

It's my understanding the M$ FireWall only checks incoming items. You might want to check this out.
