to help get provisions against "frivolous lawsuits" added to the current anti-spyware bill.

If you will go to this page: http://www.cdt.org/action/fec/ and type your zip code into the box provided, you will wind up on a page that gives you the phone numbers of both your Congressmen and your Representatives. A phone call makes an immediate, telling impact. All you have to do is tell the person who answers that you WANT "frivolous lawsuit" protection provisions added to the anti-spyware bill currently being considered.

If you can't telephone, then go here: http://www.senate.go...enators_cfm.cfm and use the drop-down menu to find your Reps. (Clicking on their individual name links will generally give you their FAX number).

FAX'es are the second-best way to contact them - again, indicate your SUPPORT for having "frivolous lawsuit" protection provisions added to the currently proposed anti-spyware bill.

Third is emailing. Your Rep's email or "Contact" form-type links will be on that page - USE it if you have no other way to contact them and make SURE the "Subject" line of the email (and the FAX for that matter) say something like "PUT FRIVOLOUS LAWSUIT PROTECTION INTO THE ANTI-SPYWARE BILL! so that they get the message whether they read the rest of it or not!

Let's all get together and make this bill as effective as it possibly CAN be, okay? We HAVE political muscle - let's USE it! Pete
A free people ought not only to be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government."
