Regedit will open. At the top of the window click edit> Find> then copy and paste the following into the window.
Warning you have spyware
Then click find now.
When you find the entry right click on it and select delete, answer ok at the prompt.
Next, press "F3" to continue searching, if another instance is found, repeat the above steps, until you see the "completed searching" message.
Ok, the actual message is:
Windows Error
System has detected spyware activity. Some system functions are blocked out.
Windows Reccomends you to clean your pc with a spyware removal tool.
This has to be done as soon as possible to prevent data loss.
I searched reg for Windows Error and came up with nothing. It's not TXT its an image.
Any other ideas? Also, we need to figure out what keeps messing with the Bin.
Erik
Once it has downloaded, double-click on the smitfraud.reg file on your desktop and when it asks if you would like to merge the data, click on the Yes button.
Reboot your computer and you should now be able to change your desktop settings back to how you would like it. If your desktop still looks strange, go into your display properties and click on the Themes tab. Change the theme to Windows XP and you will now be using the default Windows XP settings. Then change them as you see fit.
Go to Start>Run, and type in: cmd
Select: OK
At the cmd prompt, type the following commands and press Enter after each:
cd\
attrib -h -s c:\recycler
del c:\recycler
Then do this: Will see if it holds
Note: This will remove all previous Restore Points

I'll leave this open for awhile and see how you're doing.
If you dont have these three programs I would recommend that you get them. Spywareblaster,Spywareguard and IESPY AD. They will add 1000's of sites to your resticted zone and block some hijacks from happening. I also have a FREE FIREWALL and FREE ANTI VIRUS if you need one.
It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system.
Keep your system up to date and run Adaware & Spybot, once a week works, and hopefully you will be ok from here on. Both are available below.
You're more then welcome.
Glad we were able to help
