Hi texgal! I'm 'KotaGuy. Welcome to TomCoyote! If you still require assistance, could you please post a new HijackThis log. It has been a few days since you've posted one and something might have changed since then. Thanks!
Howdy 'KotaGuy! Thanks for replying. There indeed have been a few changes–a friend added some spyblaster stuff and a virus scan for future protection and updated Windows. I'm still facing severe slow downs and many many IE popups.

Thanks again!

Here is my updated scan:

Thanks for posting the new log. I need you to download some specific tools for the different infections that are in your computer.

Download and install CCleaner. Don't run it yet.

Download LQFix. Don't run it yet.

Download Process Explorer. Don't run it yet.

Download KillBox. Don't run it yet.

Download FindQoologic-Narrator. Don't run it yet.

Download RKFiles. Don't run it yet

OK… that should be all the tools we are going to need to clean your computer up.

Print this out for reference during the fix.

Make sure no files are hidden. To do this:

1. Click Start.
2. Open My Computer.
3. Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
4. Select the View Tab.
5. Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
6. Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
7. Click Yes to confirm.
8. Click OK.

Hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete to bring up the Task Manager. End Task:

ViewMgr.exe
BMan1.exe
BMan.exe
sigys.exe

Go to Add/Remove Programs. Uninstall Viewpoint Manager and Virtual Bouncer or VBouncer.

Run and scan with HijackThis. With all other browsers and windows closed, place a check beside the following and Fix:

O2 - BHO: CExtension Object - {0019C3E2-DD48-4A6D-ABCD-8D32436323D9} - C:\WINDOWS\cfgmgr51.dll
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [ViewMgr] C:\Program Files\Viewpoint\Viewpoint Manager\ViewMgr.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [usEi32e] stcddm.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [BMan] C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\msw\BMan1.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [VBouncer] C:\PROGRA~1\VBouncer\VirtualBouncer.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunOnce: [6ilcgw.exe] C:\WINDOWS\System32\6ilcgw.exe /k
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [fBxsRSK6P] sigys.exe
O16 - DPF: {3F0EECCE-E138-11D1-8712-0060083D83F5} (LPViewer Class) - http://www.mgisoft.com/ActiveX/LPControl.cab
O16 - DPF: {FA13A9FA-CA9B-11D2-9780-00104B242EA3} (WildTangent Control) - http://www.wildtangent.com/install/wdriver…wave/wtinst.cab

Boot into Safe Mode. To do this:

1. Reboot your computer.
2. Tap the F8 button as your computer is booting to bring you to the Advanced Options Menu.
3. Select Safe Mode and press Enter.

Search for and delete these folders:

C:\Program Files\ViewPoint\Viewpoint Manager
C:\Program Files\VBouncer
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\msw

Search for and delete these files:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\sigys.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\6ilcgw.exe
stcddm.exe

Browse to your C:\Windows\Prefetch folder. Delete all the files in that folder, do not delete the folder itself. Empty your Recycle Bin. Run CCleaner.

While still in Safe Mode, browse to where you save LQFix.bat. Double click on it. A DOS window will open and close again, that is normal.

Reboot Windows normally and post a new log please.
Here is my new log after following the instructions closely:
(PS: thanks for your timeliness–this is great!)

Looking better! Print this out for reference during the fix.

Boot into Safe Mode for this part of the fix.

Browse to where you saved Process Explorer, double click on procexp.exe.

In the top section of the Process Explorer screen double click on winlogon.exe to bring up the winlogon.exe properties screen. Click on the Threads tab at the top.

Once you see this screen click on each instance of comdos.dll once and then click the kill button.

After you have killed all of the comdos.dll's under winlogon click OK.

Also look for any .ini or bak files or other dll's with either the same name or the file name in reverse & kill them as well

Example:

comdos.bak
comdos.ini
comdos.reg etc

or

sodmoc.dll
sodmoc.bak
sodmoc.inin etc

Next double click on explorer.exe and again click once on each instance of comdos.dll then click the kill button.

Also look for any .ini or bak files or reverse named dll's with either the same name or the file name in reverse & kill them as well. See above for examples.

Click on the Threads tab at the top.

Once you have done that click OK again.

Next run HijackThis, with all other browsers and windows closed, place a check beside the following and Fix:

O2 - BHO: CExtension Object - {0019C3E2-DD48-4A6D-ABCD-8D32436323D9} - C:\WINDOWS\cfgmgr52.dll
O2 - BHO: MSEvents Object - {44240BB5-BD7D-4D49-A1AA-8AB0F3D3CB44} - C:\WINDOWS\system\comdos.dll
O20 - Winlogon Notify: comdos - C:\WINDOWS\system\comdos.dll

Now click fix checked and close HijackThis.

Please copy the text in the quote box below, and paste it into a blank notepad window. Save it as vundo.reg and in the save as type box choose All Files.

Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.

Close all open windows and programs, then start Killbox. Put a check next to "Delete on Reboot", then copy this line in "Full Path of File to Delete" box:

C:\WINDOWS\system\comdos.dll

Click the red and white "Delete File" button.
Click "Yes" at the first prompt .
Click "No" at the second.

Repeat that process for:

C:\WINDOWS\cfgmgr52.dll

And any of the reverse named .bak or .ini or other files that you discovered in step 1, if there were any.

Now… browse to where you saved RKFiles. Double click the "rkfiles.bat" icon. It can take a while to run. Leave it to do its work. It will created a log file located here: C:\Log.txt.

When the black cmd.exe window closes reboot your computer in "Normal Mode".

Once back in Windows… browse to where you save FindQoologic-Narrator. Double-click the Find-Qoologic2.bat file to run it. A text file will open. Copy and paste the contents of the file into your reply along with the log file created by RKFiles and a new HijackThis log please.

Thanks!
'KotaGuy:
Here are the logs you asked to see. I ran into problems w/ the last step w/ FindQoologic. I never got a text message. A window titled '16bit MS DOS Subsystem' did pop up w/ the following message:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe
C:\WINDOWS\system32\Autoexec.nt The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'close' to terminate the application.

Don't know if you need that but it's all I got. Hope we're getting there:)

The other scans, no probs:

To fix the error you are getting when trying to Run Qoologic. do this….

Go to C:\Windows\Repair. Copy autoexec.nt to C:\windows\system32.

Run the tool again and post the log please.

Thanks!
Ok, still doesn't seem to be working properly. A window/dialogue box is popping up for a split second alerting me that the finished results are in a certain location, but it goes away too quickly to read the rest. In the main black screen, it ends with this: "Data Error reading device Abort, Retry, Fail? " I did notice a txt file in the FindQoologic folder on my desktop that was created at the time i attempted to run the program. It is named "file" and all it contains is the following: PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL FILES FOUND BY THIS METHOD ARE NOT BAD FILES, THERE MIGHT BE LEGIT FILES LISTED AND PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHILE FIXING. IF YOU ARE UNSURE OF WHAT IT IS LEAVE THEM ALONE. »»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»» Files found »»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»»» It is not listing any files, but I'm not sure that the program is scanning/running or doing whatever it does properly. Thanks again for your help. I'm so grateful and appreciative of your time and computer wisdom!!!!
Ok… something in your system doesn't like that tool. This might take a few cracks to clean out fully. Don't be discouraged by that, it is normal with this infection.

Print this out for reference during the fix.

Hit Ctrl+Alt+Delete to bring up the Task Manager. End Task:

rzlamk.exe

Run and scan with HijackThis. With all other browsers and windows closed, place a check beside the following and Fix:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KavSvc] C:\WINDOWS\System32\rzlamk.exe

Disconnect from the internet… unplug the cable to your modem if need be.

Close all open windows and programs, then start Killbox. Put a check next to "Delete on Reboot", then copy this line in "Full
Path of File to Delete" box:

C:Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\programs\startup\dacu.exe.EXE

Click the red and white "Delete File" button.
Click "Yes" at the first prompt .
Click "No" at the second.

Repeat those same steps for each of these files one at a time:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\nrqop.dll.DLL
C:\WINDOWS\System32\pybehrg.dll.DLL
C:\WINDOWS\System32\quygb.dat
C:\WINDOWS\System32\rzlamk.exe

OK… since FindQoologic isn't working for you, I need you to download another tool.

Download and install AgentRansack. Don't run it yet.

Print this out for reference.

Boot into Safe Mode. Browse to where you saved RKFiles. Double click the "rkfiles.bat" icon. It can take a while to run. Leave it to do its work. It will created a log file located here: C:\Log.txt.

When the black cmd.exe window closes reboot your computer in "Normal Mode".

Once back in Windows, run AgentRansack. Check expert user if it is not already checked.

Copy (Ctrl+c)/paste(ctrl+v) the following into the "Containing Text" field:

(Qoologic|Aspack|narrator)+

Copy the following into the "Look in" field:

C:\windows;C:\windows\start menu\programs\Startup

Uncheck the box "Search subfolders"

Click "Start search"

Once the scan is finished please go to "File" (at the top of the screen) and click it. Select "Save results from the menu. Clipboard is checked by default. Leave it as it is. At the bottom of the screen under "Information" uncheck "Contents". Now click "Save". This copies it to your clipboard. Right-click in the reply area below the last log and paste that information into the post along with the new log created by RKFiles.

Thanks!
When trying to start search w/ agentransack, it only would search in c:\windows. It returned one file. When I pasted the whole thing or even just the second part i got an error reading "C:\windows\start menu\programs\Startup is not a valid search directory. THe directory name must be the full path, including the drive letter (e.g. C:\windows) OR a properly constructed UNC name (e.g. \\WORKSTATION\Shared_Folder) " My computer is behaving much better thus far externally. No pop ups and much faster than before. Below is the RKFiles log and then the one file from agentransack: C:\Documents and Settings\Tammy Grab\Desktop PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL FILES FOUND BY THIS METHOD ARE NOT BAD FILES, THERE MIGHT BE LEGIT FILES LISTED AND PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHILE FIXING.
