Hello findjja, Welcome to TomCoyote forum. If you still want help, then please follow these directions.

1) I first need to tell you that you have a nasty worm. I am going to give you information so you can read to find out how you got it, how to prevent it from happening again, and what changes it made to your computer you may have to correct. Here is that information, make sure you read it all.
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcen…2.bropia.n.html
http://www.trendmicro.com/vinfo/virusencyc…ROPIA.O&VSect=P
Once you have read this, then try the removal tool, I will continue with the HJT fix but the worm may be gone if the tool works.

http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcen…moval.tool.html

2) Download CCleaner from this link: http://www.ccleaner.com/ Take the time to review the instructions on the download page so that when I ask you to run it you will know what you are doing.

3) You have programs running that will block the fix we must make with HJT. Turn them off until you are done.
SpySweeper: I do not have the instructions, if you will post them for me I will have them for the next time I see this software, but it MUST be either turned off completely or uninstalled.
Microsoft Antispyware
To disable the program, follow the instructions below:
A.) Right click on the Microsoft Antispyware tray icon (a little red and yellow circle looking thing)
B.) Click on Security Agents Status (Enabled)
C.) Click on Disable Real-time Protection.

4) Open your Task Manager then under the Processes tab locate, highlite and end process on this item:
C:\WINNT\system32\winis.exe

5) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [update] winis.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [update] winis.exe
O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present
O16 - DPF: RaptisoftGameLoader - http://www.miniclip.com/hamsterball/raptisoftgameloader.cab
O16 - DPF: {BFF1950D-B1B4-4AE8-B842-B2CCF06D9A1B} (Zylom Games Player) - http://game17.zylomgames.com/activex/zylomgamesplayer.cab

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

SHOW HIDDEN FILES: Follow the instructions in the link to enable hidden files for your operating system.
You may wish to reverse this process if you have any concern about anyone getting into these hidden system files.
http://www.xtra.co.nz/help/0,,4155-1916458,00.html

RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:

C:\WINNT\system32\winis.exe >>> file

Let's check for trojans to make sure none are hiding, run this free online scan, scan the whole system and set it to clean or fix anything it locates. Let me know what it finds and the exact name and location of anything it locates but can't remove. You may be asked to install an ActiveX, please do so as this program is safe and it can not run without it.
http://www.windowsecurity.com/trojanscan/

Run CCleaner then restart the computer and post a new log in this same thread along with any feedback you have. Let us know how you are running.

Thanks…pskelley

PURGE SYSTEM RESTORE
When you are completely finished with the removal procedure and are satisfied that the threat has been removed follow these instruction:
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgen…src=sec_doc_nam
 The first thing i would like to say is thank you thank you thank you.. lol
I am pretty sure that the first worm fix that you told me to do fixed my problem because after that the file was not there any longer. then i did the trojan scan and it came up compleately clear. the last question i had is if you want me to keep system restore off or on because i was not sure. i will keep it off untill you tell me what to do. here is my new scan.

thank you again

Hello findjja, The process of turning system restore off then back on purges anything that had gotten in to System Restore. If you still have it off, please turn it back on right away. If there is for some reason, an emergency and you need SR, you will not have it. Do this now, I will look at your log and post information about soon. Thanks…pskelley
OK findjja  Congratulations on a job well done, you have a clean logfile. Now let's keep it that way. Here is some great information from Tony Klein, Texruss, ChrisRLG and Grinler to help you stay clean and safe online:

thank you again i have now dowloaded a few more anti spyware/virus protections i now i have total of 9 programs i run.. i had about 5 before and i do think i know how i got the worm, i was just not thinking and accpeted somthing from one of my firends on msn who did no know they were sending it and i accepted it witought asking what it was and they had no idia what i was talking about when i asked what it was latter. thank you for all the help and i will try to be more carfull from now on although i tend to be a pretty well protected wise computer user. this hijack forum is extramly helpfull.
I will take a moment Sir to mention that the jury is still out on just how many are too much and if running many realtime products can effect their overall performance. We learned long ago that one good antivirus program well maintained was much better protection that two. In fact, if I see two I ask that one be removed. While no two computers will handle the configuration of multiple malware programs the same, this is something to take into account. I will mention that I run a good antivirus program, firewall and a router, then I run on all of my computers..Ad-aware, Spybot, SpywareGuard, SpywareBlaster and IE-Spyad. I will also say the last five are freeware. I will leave you with this information: http://windowssecrets.com/050127/#story1

Thanks…pskelley
