When i connect to the internet a search page appears. My home page then appears when i click the home icon. I have run Spybot, Ad-Aware and microsoft anti-spyware but the page reappears with each new connection. I have posted my Hijackthis log. Thank you.

Welcome to the forum.

Please move HJT into its own permanent folder so backups can be made, suggest:
C:\MyHJT\HJT.exe or C:\MyDocuments\MyHJT\HJT.exe

Download and unzip the KillBox to a folder - we'll use it later.

Press Control-Alt-Del to enter the Task Manager.
Click on the Processes tab and end the following processes if listed:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\spider.exe

Exit the Task Manager when finished

Close ALL programs down, leaving ONLY HijackThis running.
Place a check against the following items:

O2 - BHO: ActiveX Control - {88792D44-F15A-4523-8B84-4EC6EC3F9CC2} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\mspjm.dll (file missing)
O2 - BHO: IE SP2 AddOn - {D8042D9B-9B65-4036-9095-5DD065860DDC} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\spwgr.dll
O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Works Calendar Reminders.lnk = ?
O20 - AppInit_DLLs: ml9sdw4l8jrt.dll

Click on Fix Checked and exit HijackThis.

Now open up the KillBox and copy and paste each one of these in and hit delete, if the file exists, it will appear in blue under the window.

C:\WINDOWS\System32\mspjm.dll
C:\WINDOWS\System32\spwgr.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\spider.exe

Also find and delete this file:

ml9sdw4l8jrt.dll

Clean out temporary and TIF files. Go to Start > Run and type in the box: cleanmgr. Let it scan your system for files to remove. Make sure these 3 are checked and then press *ok* to remove:

Temporary Files
Temporary Internet Files
Recycle Bin

Reboot and post a fresh HijackThis log and we'll take another look. MrC
