Just letting you know that I have received the file but did not have time tonight to process the information in it. I will try to do this tommorrow and get back with you as soon as possible.
Sorry about the delay in getting back to you. The log that you sent did not show what we were hoping for. I would like you to try something to see if the problem will still exists. I have a hunch that SpySubtract may have been instructed to disallow the changes we needed to make to the registry and now it is trying to undo everything that we fixed. I do not have this program so unfortunately I can not give exact instructions on how to do this. Open SpySubtract and disable any real-time protection. There should be an option from inside the program to allow you to disable its' ability to monitor the registry, etc. Now close out the program and make sure it is not running. Use your computer normally for a while and let me know if McAfee still detects the problem.
Sorry it took so long, my computer did a complete freeze up. I had to do a destuctive system restore. But thanks for all your help, I apreciate it.
I will take it then that the issue has been resolved? I'm sorry that we were not able to fix it for you earlier. Good luck in your future surfing.
