Hi roycie, Welcome to TomCoyote forum. If you still need some help, please follow these directions:
I see some nasty adware and a hostile ActiveX Downloaded Program File. We will clean out that stuff and see how you are running then. I also see a lot of stuff left from emachine and unless emachinee is your home page I will remove the clutter they put there so you have to look at their adds. If you see me removing something you think you need, just pass over it in the repair. There are also a couple of items running everytime you start the computer that you can run from Start/Programs when you need them, we will cover those after the bad stuff is gone. I am going to guess Yahoo is what you use as a home page, let me know if that is correct.

1) Download CCleaner from this link: http://www.ccleaner.com/ Take the time to review the instructions on the download page so that when I ask you to run it you will know what you are doing.

2) Open Hijack this and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

Close all programs but HJT and all browser window, then click on "Fix Checked"

3) Run CCleaner then restart the computer and post a new log in this same thread along with any feedback you have. Let us know how you are runing now.

Thank you SO MUCH psKelley!!! This computer hasn't run this good since it was new!..It seems you can't surf the net anymore without coming back with a bunch of spyware on your computer..I wish there was a way to permanately stop people from getting into your computer!..This sure is a great place, and it's people like you who make it what it is..again, thank you so much!..roycie

You are very welcome roycie, but my job is not yet done. I must see another log to make sure you are totally clean and I want to make a couple of suggestions that may speed you up more. I also have suggestions from some of the best in malware removel to keep you clean and safe. As soon as you can, please post that last log. Thanks much, pskelley
