Please help me evict se.dll from my system. Here's the log:

Welcome to the forum.

Download CW-Shredder at the link below:
http://cwshredder.net/bin/CWShredder.exe

Download 'SpSeHjfix'. into a folder.

Disconnect from the net and Close ALL OPEN PROGRAMS.
Run 'SpSeHjfix'. and click on "Start Disinfection".
When it's finished it will reboot your machine to finish the cleaning process.
The tool creates a log of the fix which will appear in the folder.

Now run the Shredder - Hit The FIX button!

Reboot and post a fresh HJT log and the log that was created by 'SpSeHjfix'.

Looks better but we still have some cleaning to do.

First, could you disable regprot.exe until we finish cleaning.
C:\WINDOWS\START MENU\PROGRAMS\STARTUP\REGPROT.EXE
It may interfere with the process

HowToShowHiddenFiles - <—enable this


Then…

Clean out temporary and TIF files. Go to Start > Run and type in the box: cleanmgr. Let it scan your system for files to remove. Make sure these 3 are checked and then press *ok* to remove:

Temporary Files
Temporary Internet Files
Recycle Bin


Close all programs down, leaving only HijackThis running.
Place a check against the following items:

Click on Fix Checked and exit HijackThis.

Delete these files if found:

Open up Internet Explorer , Tools, General Tab, reset your home page, now Programs Tab, Reset Web Settings
That will change everything back to the default settings.

Well Done, there's two harmless entries still left.

But first we have to disable SpybotSD TeaTimer.

Please disable TeaTimer by opening Spybot SD and on the left menu choose Tools and then Resident. In the right hand pane you will see a check box for TeaTimer and for SDHelper . Please uncheck both boxes and then close Spybot. You can reinstate it later but we don't want it interfering with what we need to do. Reboot when done

Close ALL programs down, leaving ONLY HijackThis running.
Place a check against the following items:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {4ACED6FF-5B7F-48A1-B148-14C797B2BDF4} - (no file)
O18 - Filter: text/plain - {DB0774F9-C88D-483E-B5CA-42E94C136F39} - (no file)

Click on Fix Checked and exit HijackThis.
