Hello Yvonne, Welcome to TomCoyote forum. You have some real nasties but if we work together we can clean them up. I want you to know that some of these can be very hard to remove, so follow the directions carefully. I also need to point out that you are running an old version of Internet Explorer. I strongly suggest you visit Windows Updates and download all critical for security updates for your Windows version and bring your IE up to date 6.0 which will give you the best protection available with IE.

1) What is this: C:\PROGRAM FILES\MOBILE DISK O21\MDTOOLS.EXE Need to make sure it is legit.

2) C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\VXDRUN6.EXE: "Switch" premium rate adult content dialer

3) C:\PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOFT OFFICE\OFFICE\FINDFAST.EXE: http://castlecops.co...plist-2061.html

4) D:\PROGRAM FILES\HIJACKTHIS.EXE: I would prefer you run HJT from C:\. If you must run from D:\ it has to be a drive and can't be a floppy or CD. HJT needs a folder to store logs and backups for safety. Create a NEW FOLDER name it HJT and move the HJT.exe and any logs there into that folder. Please do this before you proceed.

5) You may have a CoolWebSearch infection, please download CWShredder from the following link. Save it to your desktop. Open it then update first then choose FIX. Allow it to run and remove anything it locates. Please post this information for me in the next log.
http://www.softpedia...WShredder.shtml

6) Open Task Manager (depress Ctrl, Alt, Delete at the same time. Locate and end process on these items:
VXDRUN6.EXE
FINDFAST.EXE

7) SCAN with HijackThis and check the box in front of these line items:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.startpagina.nl/
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Startpagina = file:///C:/Program%20Files/Make125/Portal/portal.html

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows then click on "Fix Checked"

Follow the instructions in the follow link to enable hidden files for your operating system.
You may wish to reverse this process if you have any concern about anyone getting into these hidden system files.

RIGHT click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\VXDRUN6.EXE >>> file

C:\PROGRAM FILES\MICROSOFT OFFICE\OFFICE\FINDFAST.EXE >>> file

Empty the recycle bin and restart the computer. Stay in this same thread using ADD REPLY and post a new log to see how we did. Please include the information I asked for above and any feedback you think I should have.

Thanks...pskelley
