Hello mmayerchak, Welcome to TomCoyote forum. If you are still looking for help please follow these directions. You have a mess of nasty stuff on this computer. It will take some time to clean it up,

1) First, HJT needs to store backups for safety and logs. I wish to make sure HJT.exe is on a drive, and not a CD or floppy. If that is the case, then it is fine and you can call it Utilities if you wish but do not store anything other than HJT backups and logfiles in that folder.
D:\Utilities\HijackThis.exe

2) Some line items looks like they may be CoolWebSearch. I want you to download, update and run CWShredder from the following link. Make sure you choose FIX not scan. Allow it to run and tell me in your next post what it found.
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Popu…WShredder.shtml

3) Among others, you have IEPlugin spyware. Symantec has created a tool for removing this item. Review all of the information in the following link so you will know what you are doing. Then under removal instructions download and run the removal tool as instructed.
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcen…e.ieplugin.html

4) These programs seem valid, if anything listed is unknown to you, let me know in your next post. I will remove it.
C:\Program Files\eBay\eBay Toolbar2\eBayTBDaemon.exe
C:\Program Files\MoodLogic\Service\Updater.exe
D:\Image Expert\Image Expert\IXApplet.exe
C:\Program Files\AOL Toolbar\welcome.html

5) O9 - Extra button: Gexus - {426F81A5-0B8C-4948-8115-11606FD3F389} - (no file)
O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Gexus - {426F81A5-0B8C-4948-8115-11606FD3F389} - (no file)
Mixed reviews on this item, if you wish it removed, let me know in the next post.

6) O3 - Toolbar: (no name) - {ACB1E670-3217-45C4-A021-6B829A8A27CB} - (no file) McAfee Virusscan: This toolbar is not functional and it may or may not interfere with your virus protection. Once you are clean, I would contact McAfee and find out if you need to reinstall that toolber.

7) Scan with HijackThis and check the box in fron of each of these line items:

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows then click on "Fix Checked"

Follow the instruction in this link to enable hidden files for your operating system:
http://www.xtra.co.nz/help/0,,4155-1916458,00.html

RIGHT click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these files:

C:\WINDOWS\wdskctl.exe >>> file

C:\WINDOWS\sduf.exe >>> file

Empty the recycle bin and restart the computer. Stay in this same thread, please post the information I asked for above and any comments you think I should have.

Thanks…pskelley
