Hello ck1agn, Welcome to TomCoyote forum. While I am not sure this is the reason for your connection issues, I am very concerned about this item:

O16 - DPF: {084F552D-19EB-4668-9788-984CBC781A8F} (AsyncDownloader Class) - http://survey.otxresearch.com/Preloader.dll
-TrojanDownloader.OTXloader.A

Here is what I want you to do, and as soon as very possible. I would stay offline until these instructions are complete in the event this DPF program is inviting other carp** to your computer.

Scan with HijackThis and put a check in the box in front of this item:

O16 - DPF: {084F552D-19EB-4668-9788-984CBC781A8F} (AsyncDownloader Class) - http://survey.otxresearch.com/Preloader.dll
-TrojanDownloader.OTXloader.A

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows then click on "Fix Checked" Empty the recycle bin and restart your computer.
Now I want you to run these two free online scans.
http://www.windowsecurity.com/trojanscan/
http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/co…n_principal.htm

Make a note of anything either programs locates, have anything found fixed or cleaned. If there is anything that either program can't clean, make a note of the exact name and location of these items. When this is finished, use add reply, stay in this thread and post a new log along with your comments and any information from the scans.

Thanks…pskelley

Ok I ran those 2 programs, they didnt seem to find anything, although I dont think the Panda program scanned anything other then my Outlook.

It didnt matter which option I selected. I always got a prompt to scan my outlook profile, then it just said "no infections found". Seemed it wouldnt scan my whole harddrive.

The Trojan scanner seemed to have a couple of problems as well. It could not scan
c:\documents and settings\administrator\ -access is denied, or
c:\system volume information -access is denied.

Anyway here is my new HJT log.

Hello ck1agn,

I dont think the Panda program scanned anything other then my Outlook.

I am not sure why you had this problem, I use Panda all of the time and it works fine? The access denied is System Restore, I will give you instructions for purging SR and setting a new Restore point below.

Let's hope that removing that nasty "TrojanDownloader.OTXloader.A" corrected your issue because your log is now clean. Here is some great information from Tony Klein, Texruss, ChrisRLG and Grinler to help you stay clean and safe online:
http://forums.net-integration.net/index.php?showtopic=3051
http://russelltexas.com/malware/allclear.htm
http://forum.malwareremoval.com/viewtopic.php?t=14

Here are instructions for purging System Restore, first a link:
Purge system restore file

and manual instructions if you prefer:
MANUAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SYSTEM RESTORE
1. Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

2. Reboot.

3. Turn ON System Restore,
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
