I couldn't find mszx23.exe but I could find mszx23.exe !!, however I couldn't delete it.

I don't see it in the HijackThis log.

Restart your computer in Safe Mode.

Press F8 after the Power-On Self Test (POST) is done. If the Windows Advanced Options Menu does not appear, try restarting and then pressing F8 several times after the POST screen.
Choose the Safe Mode option from the Windows Advanced Options Menu then press Enter.

Use ALT/CTRL/DEL and see if it's listed there. If so, end the process for it.

Run regedit again and lets search for mszx23.exe !! Click My Computer> Edit> Find type in mszx23.exe !! Delete all found
Ok, I found a bunch of files with familiar names (mhtml, TIBS, etc.) and deleted them all. I also found the mszx23.exe file I couldn't find earlier and deleted it.
I'm getting a blank.htm page every time I open IE that has a search page for "spyware removal". So far, I'm not getting any Norton or dialer messages. I found mszx23.exe when I searched for it on the hard drive (not in the registry) and I still couldn't delete it. I managed to find it in the registry though. Download the trial version of TDS-3
Install it, but do not launch it yet

Update it here right click, select "save as"

Save it to the directory where you installed TDS-3, overwriting the previous radius.td3.

Then launch TDS-3. in the top bar of tds window click system testing> full system scan.
detections will appear in the lower pane of tds window. after the scan is finished ( it'll take a while ) right click the list> select save as txt. save it and post the contents of the scandump.txt here

after posting the scandump go ahead and right click the list of detections again. this time select delete! only delete those with positive identification.
Every time I run the program my computer freezes when it's scanning my processes, so I can't do a full system scan. What should I do now?
Looks like there's a fix now.

You have a Horseserver infection which requires some tools to get rid of.
  • First, download HSFix from here
  • After it is downloaded, create a new folder on your desktop called "HSFix" and extract all the files into the newly created folder.
  • Next, download CleanUp! Install it, but do not run it yet.
  • Boot into safe mode: Restart your computer and as soon as it starts booting up again continuously tap F8. A menu should come up where you will be given the option to enter Safe Mode.
  • Locate the HSFix folder on your desktop, open it, and double-click "hsfix.bat"
  • A log will be produced which you can close out of.
  • Then run HijackThis again, close any open windows and browsers and fix these:
    HJT items here

    O18 - Protocol hijack: mhtml -

  • Run CleanUp! and let it clean your computer of temp files. Decline when it asks you to log off.
  • Restart your computer into normal mode and run at least one of the following free, online virus scans:
    http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp
    http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/co…n_principal.htm
    http://www3.ca.com/threatinfo/virusinfo/scan.aspx
  • Restart your computer one last time and post a new HijackThis log, as well as the HSFix log which is located at C:/hslog.txt

Well nothing irregular seems to be happening. The IE windows are working fine and I'm getting no pop ups. I am still getting a RUNDLL error during start up though. Also, I still couldn't delete the Protocol hijack - mhtml. Also, I'm looking through my files in explorer, and I see a bunch of files and folders with their icons faded out (you know when you cut/paste a file their icons go translucent while it's on the clipboard? Like that) Some of them are files I've never even seen before. Could this be another virus thing or just a side effect of all the fixing we've been doing?

Some of them are files I've never even seen before

Give me the names of some of them. I'm thinking it from all the fixing.

Click Start> Run> type in Msconfig tap enter. Look in the Startup. Can you give me the list of items in there with a check mark on them.
