Hello dbecicka, Welcome to TomCoyote forum, If you are still looking for help let's try this. There are some lines in this log that could mean a CWS infection. Please use the following link to download CWShredder. When you get to the webpage please select "Download the stand-alone version of CWShredder". Once you have it installed, first update it, then click on FIX. Please let me know the results of the scan.

Once this is completed, open HJT and click on Scan. Put a check in the box in front of these lines:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,SearchAssistant = www.msn.com
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = about:blank
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = about:blank
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = about:blank
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = about:blank
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {FA849D34-F27A-4535-81CD-2FBB0EFC7E77} - C:\WINNT\system32\ldak.dll (file missing)

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows then click on "Fix Checked"

Run cleanmgr and remove everything windows locates, then empty the recycle bin and restate the computer.
Use the following two links to stay in this thread, post a new log along with any comments you think we should have.

Hello dbecicka, I apologize as it appears I did not give you the link to CWShredder, I also see that you have this installed:
O4 - Global Startup: SpySubtract.lnk = C:\Program Files\interMute\SpySubtract\SpySub.exe
A great program, but it will block changes you try to make. You will have to turn it off when you are using HJT. If you have managed to run CWShredder, that is great. If not, use the following link to download and run it. Remember to update and choose fix, and to turn SpySubtract off first. I would appreciate knowing the results.
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Popu…WShredder.shtml

Once this is complete, with SpySubtract turned off, do this:

Scan with HJT and remove this line, remember to have all programs and browser windows closed then click "Fix Checked"

R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = about:blank

Please post a new log, along with the comments asked for above.

Thanks…pskelley

pskelley,
I was able to run the CWShredder before and it did not come up with anything. Also, I turned SpySubtract off and ran Hijact this again and removed the following line:
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = about:blank
I then restarted and ran Hijack this agin and here is my newest scan result.
Thanks for all of your help.
dbecicka
