hi
Starting on Jan. 19th, I started receiving e-postcards from people I do not know,
some with with a message similar to this:

Hello! (name) has just sent you a greeting card from TakingITGlobal.org!

You can pick up your personal message here:

http://d.takingitglo...ckup.html?card= D2C304

Best Regards,

TakingITGlobal Member Services
mailto:memberservices@takingitglobal.org
http://www.takingitglobal.org/

Some of the emails have a link to Doozy CARDtoon instead of TakingITGlobal
....and the links are not linked to TakingITGlobal or Doozy CARDtoon but to
various web addresses:

piercedforum.us
hypnobirthing.co.uk
hillingdon.middx.net
indiehangout.net
benjafieldsracingclub.co.uk
s88458503.onlinehome.us
spiritkin.net
/?kome=fawq
innerquest.asso.fr

Some of the emails have only a subject (with no content) example:

'a card from Terry'
'Christmas postcard'
'an e-postcard is waiting for you'

does anyone have any idea what type of spam this is? and why do they bother to send it out??
any ideas on how to filter it out?

thanks
J
