Click here to download CWShredder and run it, hit 'fix' as opposed to 'scan only'. Reboot when done.

Click here to download Ad-Aware SE and install. Before scanning click on "check for updates now" to make sure you have the latest reference file. Click "Start", select "Perform Full System scan" and "Next" to start the scan. When the scan is finished, the screen will tell you if anything has been found, click "Next". The bad files will be listed, right click the pane and click "Select all objects" - this will put a check mark in the box at the side, click "Next" again and click "OK" at the prompt "# objects will be removed. Continue?".

Reboot when done. Rescan with HJT and post a new log here so that any remnants can be removed manually.

Go here and run online scans (all), allow them to delete whatever they find:

Click 'Exit' when done.

If you receive a message such as: "Component 'MsComCtl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." when trying to run TheKillbox, click here to download and run missingfilesetup.exe. Then try TheKillbox again.

Click here to download System Security Suite. Extract it from the zip file into a folder and doubleclick on sss.exe. Check the boxes under the 'Items to Clear' tab and click 'Clear Selected Items'. You will be prompted to reboot, do so. Repeat for all log-in accounts on your computer.

Then follow this sequence:

1. Right-click My Computer>Click Properties>Click the System Restore tab>Check the box next to 'Turn off System Restore on all drives'>Click Apply>Click OK.

2. Reboot.

3. Repeat the process but this time remove the check from the box.

Reboot and you should be good to go - let me know how it is now.

I did what you said. After everything was done I went back to see if the files I had deleted with KillBox was still deleted. The file C:\PROGRAM FILES\SEP\sep.dll keeps comeing back after I reboot, even if I have System Restore turned off. All the other files seem to be gone , but that one keeps coming back. How can I get rid of it for good ? Thank's

In safe mode, delete this folder:

C:\PROGRAM FILES\SEP\

Reboot and post a new HJT log.

I tried to do your last reply again and got the same results. I keep getting these system popups saying that my computer is infected and it wants me to click on their ad to download their software to fix but im thinking it is the virus . Im wondering if maybe im going to have to reformat my hard drive and start all over. I hope not. I wonder why my Norton Antivirus program did not detect this and get rid of it. My browser seems to be ok one day and not the next. then I run Ad-Aware and SPybot and it seems to be ok again. Guess I will give it a few more days, maybe we can still fix it. Thank's
