Hello Ray, Welcome to TomCoyote forum. If you are still waiting for help, I will give it a go. All I ask is that you do your best to follow directions and if there is something you do not understand, please post the question rather than proceed and make an error. Thanks.
First we need to fix your HJT.exe. You are running out of a zip file and as such the backups are not safe nor the logs we create. See this: C:\DOCUME~1\RAYMOH~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\Temporary Directory 1 for hijackthis.zip\HijackThis.exe
Please create a folder, say on the C:\ and call it HJT. Move the HJT.exe into that folder. Here is additional information if you need it: http://russelltexas.com/malware/faqhijackthis.htm

I believe this is our problem: O4 - Global Startup: winlogin.exe
careful of the spelling, the normal good file looks like this: C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe, do not confuse the two.

O4 - Global Startup: winlogin.exe see the information below.
http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintas…brary/winlogin/
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcen…2.randex.e.html

I am very surprised your McAfee VSO did not detect this item, are you keeping the software up to date? and running it?

Here is what I want you to do, once you have HJT secure in it's own permanent folder, then scan with it and check each of these line items:

R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing
O4 - Global Startup: winlogin.exe
O9 - Extra button: (no name) - {120E090D-9136-4b78-8258-F0B44B4BD2AC} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\shdocvw.dll
O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: MaxSpeed - {120E090D-9136-4b78-8258-F0B44B4BD2AC} - C:\WINDOWS\System32\shdocvw.dll
O15 - Trusted Zone: www.barnesandnoble.com

Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

Update your McAfee VSO online and run a complete system scan, have it clean anything it locates.

Run this free online trojan scan and do the same with it as with McAfee:
http://www.windowsecurity.com/trojanscan/

Follow these instructions to purge System Restore:
MANUAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SYSTEM RESTORE
1. Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

2. Reboot.

3. Turn ON System Restore,
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK.

Now run clean manager, check and remove anything windows locates. Empty the recycle bin and restart the computer. Use the following two links to stay in this thread, post a new log along with and feedback you think we should have.
