Hello pocoloco . Welcome to the TC.

Important: Do this before any fix.

You need to update your version of HijackThis. Open HJT> Config> Misc Tools> Check for update online. If that doesn't work, download it from my signature and remove the hijackThis.exe you have now.

Next:

This is what I suggest you do.

Download CWShredder from my signature below. Unzip it on the desktop.
Open CWShredder and with ALL other windows closed, click fix.

Go here and run online scans (all), allow them to delete whatever they find:

TrendMicro HouseCall
eTrust AntiVirus Web Scanner
Panda ActiveScan
Note any thing that can't be fixed
Reboot when done.

Next:

Even if you've already run these, make SURE they're up-to-date and run per instructions.

Make sure you have the up-to-date versions of Spybot V 1.3 and Ad-aware SE Build 1.05 . All are free and available below.

Download Spybot, install and update. Then download Ad-aware, install, and update.

Spybot:

Install the program and launch it.

Go to Start > Programs >Spybot > Search & Destroy and choose Spybot S&D

Close ALL windows except Spybot S&D
Click the button to "Search for Updates" and download and install the Updates.
Next click the button "Check for Problems"
When Spybot is complete, it will be showing "RED" (RED) entries "BLACK" entries and "GREEN" (GREEN) entries in the window
Put a check mark beside the RED (RED) entries ONLY.
Choose "Fix Selected Problems" and allow Spybot to fix the RED (RED) entries.

Ad-Aware FULL SCAN:

Install the program and launch it.

First in the main window look in the bottom right corner and click on Check for updates now then click Connect and download the latest reference files.

From main window :Click Start then under Select a scan Mode check Perform full system scan.
Next deselect Search for negligible risk entries.
Now to scan just click the Next button.

When the scan is finished mark everything for removal and get rid of it.(Right-click the window and choose select all from the drop down menu and click Next)

Empty Recycle Bin

Reboot and "copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.
Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
Thank you LDTate for your help.
my computer is behaving starngely, I get a lot of pages poping up, also my recycle bin is not working properly, all deleted pages disapear by passing it.
CWShredder finds SVChost 32, and Adaware finds some other things as well as AD-Aware se, I delete them as instructed but on reboot they all come back.
Here are my logs and thank you,

C:\Documents and Settings\Daniel\Local Settings\Temp\Temporary Directory 3 for hijackthis2.zip\HijackThis.exe

You still have HJT in a temp folder

Important: Do this before any fix.

Please put your HijackThis in it's own folder, (I create a new folder in C:\ named HJT).
You can do a Right Click on any open area on the desktop, New> Folder, then rename the folder HJT.

Go to where your HijackThis is and Right Click on HijackThis.exe, select Cut, then open the new folder you just created (HJT) Right Click in the folder and select paste.

The reason we do this is Hijackthis creates backup files just in case you'd need to restore one and we'll be cleaning out the temp files.

Reboot and "copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.
:( Ok sorry gettin sleepy, here is the new log
Thank you :wavey:

Ok sorry gettin sleepy, here is the new log

This part of the fix will take awhile, so if you're sleepy, I suggest you do this tomorrow. Once we start, you won't be able to restart or shutdown until I give you the ok. So go ahead and get some sleep and do these tomorrow

First, enable the viewing of Hidden Files and Folders as follows:
-At your Desktop, go to Start>My Computer
-Select the Tools menu and then Folder Options
-After the new window appears select the View tab
-Select: Display the contents of system folders
-Under the Hidden files and folders section select: Show hidden files and folders
-Remove the checkmark from Hide file extensions for known file types
-Remove the checkmark from Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)
-Press the Apply button
Click OK

Now, right click the Start button on the Desktop
-Select: Explore from the menu
-In the left pane, look for the C: drive (or Local Disk C:}
Below the C: drive, look for [+]WINDOWS, and click on the [+] to expand/open
-Under WINDOWS, you should find the System32 folder.
-Select/highlight the System32 folder
-In the right pane, all the contents of System32 folder appear
-Scroll down the right pane and look for the following file: guard.tmp
-If found, right click the file, and select: Properties
Post back the date Created

Now, let's find the files that are making this beast prevail.
Please do the following:

Download Find_It.zip:
http://forums.tomcoyote.org/index.php?act=…=post&id;=110741
Unzip its contents to its own folder
Open the folder and double click on Find.bat (File with a gear symbol)
Ignore any File not found messages
It runs for a minute, and produces a log
Please copy and paste the log on your next response.

Download VX2Finder(126).exe:

Open Spybot S&D, click Mode>Advanced>Tools>Resident and remove the check from the Tea Timer box. You can reinstate it later but we don't want it interfering with what we need to do.
Use Alt/CTRL/DEL and end the process for TeaTimer.

When the scan is finished mark everything for removal and get rid of it.(Right-click the window and choose select all from the drop down menu and click Next)

Also, check the Recycle Bin to see if it works properly. A side effect of VX2 is to sometimes damage the Recycle Bin operation.
Create an blank Notepad file on the Desktop: right click the Desktop, select New>Text Document
Right click the text document and delete it.
When a file is deleted, it should ask if you want to send it to Recycle Bin.
Does it ask if you want to send the file to the Recycle Bin, or, does the file just get deleted?
Post back what it does.

When done with all of the above, close all windows and browsers, run HijackThis, Scan, post a new HijackThis log, and a new Find_It log.

If you encounter any problems with the steps above, please describe them.
LDTate, Thank you mate !! you are a very smart person, the Recycle bin works properly, here are the logs.
My internet provider is not aol, do I have to still download it from your link?, Everything seems to be working fine with my host, except the search assistant (when typed wrong address- it does not go to my normal msn)
