Hi and welcome to the forum :D

Download FxAgentB.exe from HERE and save it to your desktop. After downloading, double-click the FxAgentB file to run it and the program will scan your entire hard drive - this may take a while. When it is done, it will generate a log file called FxAgentB.log - save that information as you will need to paste it here later. Reboot when done.

Next click HERE to download CWShredder by Merijn Bellekom and run it, hit 'fix' as opposed to 'scan only'. If you already have CWShredder, click 'Check for update' and make sure you are running version 1.59.1. Reboot when done.

Then click HERE to download Ad-Aware SE and install. Before scanning click on "check for updates now" to make sure you have the latest reference file. Click "Start", select "Perform Full System scan" and "Next" to start the scan. When the scan is finished, the screen will tell you if anything has been found, click "Next". The bad files will be listed, right click the pane and click "Select all objects" - this will put a check mark in the box at the side, click "Next" again and click "OK" at the prompt "# objects will be removed. Continue?".

Then do 2 virus scans here >>>

Trend Micro

Panda

Reboot when done, rescan with HijackThis and post a new log here, together with the FxAgentB log.
HI this is the second log and below is the fxagebt b log. i could not scan with trend, the scan icon did not come up, so tried the 30 day free trial, that downloaded however got stuck as it said my system did not have enough memory. I then tried to download Panda, it just kept getting stuck. i checked the system to see if everything was enabled and nothing was stopping it and it all seems ok. Any help on those two would be very useful. Thx

The log below is the backdoor Agent B, not sure did this twice and it came up with the same log.

Symantec Backdoor.Agent.B Removal Tool 1.0.1.2

Backdoor.Agent.B has not been found on your computer.
Download this tool called AboutBuster http://www.downloads.subratam.org/AboutBuster.zip

or here:
http://malwarebytes.biz/AboutBuster.zip

Unzip it to the desktop and run it. First press *Find Updates* and let it download them (I think we are on Ref. file #21 on that one). Then follow the instruction to scan and fix.

Then post a new hijackthis log and the about:buster log. Please click on "add reply" at the bottom right to respond.
Hallo, now my system is not booting properly, it never boots the first time it takes 3 gos at least before it comes on. I downloaded AboutBuster and I got a message saying could not find database down load again. This I did several times from the two site and I got the same error message. please advise on next step…….thank you
Ok this is where we get our hands dirty to clean it up.

Please boot to safe mode (tap f8 while bios loads) then scan with hijackthis and put a check beside these lines and choose FIX.

If you dont have these three programs I would recommend that you get them. Spywareblaster, Spywareguard and IESPY AD. They will add 1000's of sites to your resticted zone and block some hijacks from happening. I also have a FREE FIREWALL and FREE ANTI VIRUS if you need one.

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system.

Keep your system up to date and run Adaware & Spybot, once a week works, and hopefully you will be ok from here on. Both are available below.
