oops – I just came back to review for responses and realized I forgot to tell you what was going on!! My apologies… This log was from a computer that has been converted to Mozilla temporarily, although I am currently using Internet Explorer. IE reverts to a home page about:blank. All previous attempts to remove this has failed miserably…my fingers are crossed hoping you guys can help. Again, I apologize for not remembering to post this information with the log. Happy New Year!!
Click here to download CWShredder and run it, hit 'fix' as opposed to 'scan only'. Reboot when done.

Click here to download Spybot Search & Destroy - install, update, scan and fix all RED items it finds. Reboot when done.

Click here to download Ad-Aware SE and install. Before scanning click on "check for updates now" to make sure you have the latest reference file. Click "Start", select "Perform Full System scan" and "Next" to start the scan. When the scan is finished, the screen will tell you if anything has been found, click "Next". The bad files will be listed, right click the pane and click "Select all objects" - this will put a check mark in the box at the side, click "Next" again and click "OK" at the prompt "# objects will be removed. Continue?".

Reboot when done. Rescan with HJT and post a new log here so that any remnants can be removed manually.
All steps suggested were taken as suggested. CW Shredder kept getting an error. I forged ahead. Here is my new log:

Little bit more to do. First of all, open Spybot S&D, click Mode>Advanced>Tools>Resident and remove the check from the Tea Timer box. You can reinstate it later but we don't want it interfering with what we need to do. Reboot when done.

Make sure that you have no browser windows open as this could prevent the fix from working properly. Open HijackThis, scan and when complete, remove the following entries by checking the box to the left and clicking 'fixed checked':

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = about:blank
R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = about:blank
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = about:blank
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/customize/…//www.yahoo.com
O13 - DefaultPrefix:
O15 - Trusted IP range: (HKLM)

Reboot when done, rescan with HJT and post a new log here.
Again, requested steps have been followed, new log follows. Things already look much better!!!!!!

superbly—any ideas where I can find out how to preserve bookmark dates from Firefox?? I have FINALLY gotten back to IE and would like to keep my favorites in date order. I KNOW – out of scope, but I thought I would ask. You did another wonderful job!! I only have 4 more computers…hahahahaha!!!!
Can't help with the firefox issue but glad you are back on track.

To help keep you clean follow the recommendations in Tony's article here:

So how did I get infected in the first place?
