had a recent outburst of pop-ups and hijackings but i ran spybot, ad-aware and Norton virus scanner to remove these problems. Eventully I got rid of the bugs, so i thought. When I restart my comp. and i select my profile i get a error message during start up. " An exception occurred while trying to run"C:/windows/system32/dogest.dll", UMonitor". The .dll is almost never the same, other ones i get were iq32_32.dll, dpsrslvr.dll. After i click "ok" everything runs fine. when i start IE i get a pop-up and i dont recieve another for about five mins or so. I've read some of the other forums about umonitor but my case seems a little different. please help here is a hjt. log

Thank you in advance for your help…………………..scotty47
You have the latest VX2 infection.

First click here to download LSPFix. Extract the program from the zip file and run it, make sure you click the "I know what I'm doing" button. Select calsp.dll and using the right-pointing 'arrows' and move all instances of calsp.dll it mentions to the Remove (RHS) side but leave everything else (it might already be over there when you open LSPFix). Repeat for aklsp.dll. Click the 'Finished' button (if you exit with the X at top right nothing happens).

Create a new folder called C:\HijackThis, move the HijackThis.exe file into the new folder and run it from there. This is necessary to ensure you have backups should anything go wrong.

Go here, download the FindItNT-2K-XP.zip and extract the files from the zip. Navigate to the Find It NT-2K-XP folder and double-click on find.bat. A command prompt will open and it will search your computer for malicious files. Once it has finished a Notepad window will pop up with output.txt. Copy the entire contents of output.txt into your next post.

Don't reboot from now on unless I instruct it otherwise this pest will morph.
Thank you for the reply, its on my boys computer, we just got home and I see he has already shut down for the night, I should be able to get onto to it first thing in the morning before i go to work. thanks again…………………..scotty47

Click here to download Pocket Killbox by Option^Explicit. Extract it from the zip file to your desktop.

Stay offline with the infected machine until this is complete.

Start Killbox and click on Tools->Delete Temp Files.

When that finishes, copy and paste each of the following lines into the "Full Path of File to Delete" box in Killbox, and click the red button with the white X on it after each. Keep track of any files it tells you either could not be found or could not be deleted, as you'll need those later:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\ir4ql5h51.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\g4jo0e13eh.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\lvp8097ue.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\enj8l11u1.dll

C:\Program Files\Windows ServeAd\WinServAd.exe
C:\Program Files\Windows ServeAd\WinServSuit.exe
C:\WINDOWS\satmat.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\angelex.exe

For the files that it either couldn't find or couldn't delete, in the killbox again this time, put a mark next to "Delete on Reboot". Copy and paste each file into the file name box, then click the red button with the X after each. It will ask you if you want to reboot each time you click it, answer NO until after you've pasted the last file name, at which time you should answer Yes.

When it reboots, with only HJT running, have it fix:

Still infected - same routine.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\immon.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\l8r00i9me8.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\nlshrui.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\r0p80a7ued.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\sknceng.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\midtclog.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\h8j40i1qe8.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\guard.tmp
C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\r0p80a7ued.dll
C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\guard.tmp
C:\Program Files\Common Files\CMEII\CMESys.exe
C:\Program Files\WebSecureAlert\WebSecureAlert.exe
C:\Program Files\Common Files\GMT\GMT.exe

For the files that it either couldn't find or couldn't delete, in the killbox again this time, put a mark next to "Delete on Reboot". Copy and paste each file into the file name box, then click the red button with the X after each. It will ask you if you want to reboot each time you click it, answer NO until after you've pasted the last file name, at which time you should answer Yes.

When it reboots, with only HJT running, have it fix:

You say not to reboot computer, I unplug my cat 5 from wall to disable connection and back in again to reconnect, therefore have to reboot. How can I do this without unplugging.
Also when I log into this forum now i get a screen comming up " spotresults.com"
how can I get rid of this. thanks again……………scotty47
The common way of getting rid of this is as I am instructing you but it is tricky. If you reboot and it is in your system it will morph, if you go online during the fix it will reinstall. I'll post it once again - I am on vacation from tonight until the new year. If you are still having problems in the meantime, contact an admin otherwise I'll pick it up with you again at the weekend.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\ldasrv.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\enrul1991.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\s0pu0a79ed.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\nwwmsdrm.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\guard.tmp
C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\s0pu0a79ed.dll
C:\\WINDOWS\\system32\\guard.tmp

For the files that it either couldn't find or couldn't delete, in the killbox again this time, put a mark next to "Delete on Reboot". Copy and paste each file into the file name box, then click the red button with the X after each. It will ask you if you want to reboot each time you click it, answer NO until after you've pasted the last file name, at which time you should answer Yes.

When it reboots, with only HJT running, have it fix:

Please post a new HJT log and Findit log again.
Ok this time I left it disconnected from internet, and am posting from different comp. Hope I catch you before you go if not thank you and a Happy New Year, here is the logs you asked for:
