Hi, having a problem with specific sites opening browser windows occasionally and was told that placing this log here would give some insight, so thanks in advance.

Hi welcome to TOM COYOTE FORUMS

Windows messenger is a source of pop ups. Your MSN can continue to function even when windows messenger is blocked
To prevent future pop ups from windows messenger download a free program call shoot the messenger

Next with NO other windows open, run HIJACKTHIS, check and fix the following lines if present

After that you need to REBOOT into safe mode. It Is important that you do so or the fix may not work. Instructions to boot into safe mode here
These may be hidden files. See here for how to show hidden files.
Find and delete the following file
DO NOT WORRY if you do not find them

c:\docume~1\sebsan~1\applic~1\taskmon.exe

After that REBOOT and
POST the new log in this thread using 'Add Reply'
