Hello Barb, Welcome to TomCoyote forum, You did a good job of cleaning up. I see the results as DPF's from the scans you used.
I do not see evidence you are running selective start up? Is that all of your running programs? I wish to point out that I see no Antivirus software installed on your computer. You have this:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Fix-It AV] C:\PROGRA~1\VCOM\SYSTEM~1\MemCheck.exe
http://computercops.biz/startuplist-1232.html
Indications in the information link are that it scans memory and exits, and you still have online scans plugged in but they do not do the job, and only scan for viruses, do not stop them. You need a ful time antivirus program kept updates to protect you when you are online. I will list three free antivirus scans and you should install one of them:

http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php
http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html
http://www.my-etrust.com/microsoft/index.c…582BE49AF2FC446

I also do not see a firewall installed, so please make sure your SP2 firewall is enabled.

We do have some trash we can remove from your drives, SCAN with HijackThis and place a check in front of each of these line items:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page =
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName =
R3 - Default URLSearchHook is missing

With all browser windows closed, click on "Fix Checked"

If you recently removed viruses/trojans, it is a good policy to purge your System Restore in the event SR is backing up any of the stuff you removed. This process clears the restore points and any bad stuff hiding there goes with the purge. A new restore point leaves your SR clean. Choose the instructions for your system:
http://www.pchell.com/virus/systemrestore.shtml

Clean like this: Start, Run type "cleanmgr" without the quotes and ok. Allow windows to remove anything it locates.
Using Add Reply to stay in this same thread, post a new log for a final look.

Thanks…pskelley

Thanks pskelley for your response. You said that you couldn't see a firewall or antivirus package after viewing my 1st hijack log. I use VCOM System Suite 5 but now I'm a bit concerned. When I ran the first HJT scan I did this under safe mode would that be the reason why you cannot see the firewall or anti-virus program? Anyway, below is a current log (ran again under safe-mode). Once again, thank you for your help.

haaba01, When you post a log, unless otherwise requested you need to have all programs enabled in msconfig and NOT be in safe mode. Please post a log like that. You do not have to restart the computer to allow all programs you disable in msconfig to start, just scan with HJT after they are enabled then return to the selective start you wish to run. Once again, I need to see the log NOT in the safe mode. Thanks…pskelley

Hello Barb, Thanks for the new log running in standard mode. I am sorry, and would like to have the instructions for that posted in bold for all to see, but alas, I am but a worker bee. I see your VCOM loud and clear now. When in safe mode only the programs need to boot to the diagnostic mode are run. Your log appears to be all in order now. If you have any additional issues please let us know. Since I can report a "Clean" log, here is some great information from Tony Klein, Texruss and ChrisRLG to help you stay that way.
