Just seems like I always have a bunch of stuff running. Right now there are 50 processes. Many are for Norton and my vid card. Just wanted to check to see if there was anything I could really get rid of. Thanks for the speedy reply.
Now that you have Spybot, Start Spybot click mode make sure that advanced mode is checked. Click tools>system startup to the right is a double arrow bar click it to expand. Now clicking on the value you will get a discription of command line. Remove the green check mark on the ones in the database status that are not "Typically not required" Should you decide that you need or want them just place a checkmark back in the box. Any of unknown status can be unchecked one by one, rechecking anytime you think you need them reboot, this completes the change.
