Mr. Tate,
Here is the new log. My comp. is running so slow when I run it for awhile, it takes a long time for web pages to load up, but other than that so far at least it is still running. Will check in again tomorrow. Corla
Hello Mr. Tate, :wavey: Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I was so busy and couldn't get back on till now. I took off all my Netscape things. I did not put them back on yet. I do not have the CD. It was my sons and he doesn't have it anymore. My CD disk doesn't work and hasn't for sometime. I am very sorry I have to tell you all that. Hopefully we can find another way. Corla ( yes I do have incredimail and if you want I will remove it, because I have Outlook Express and can still use it, I will just have to move all my stuff back to it if I need to. Will watch for your next message.

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving

I hope you had a good one also :D

Lets just try remove the toolbar, no need to remove incredimail.

I suggest you do this:

Run Hijack This again and put a check by these.

Ok, I did what you said , but when I rebooted it was still on startup menu, so I removed it from there with the uninstall and rebooted and did a HJT and this is it. Hope I did it right  . Corla
I forgot to ask what would be a good pop up blocker to use. I used to use google and then yahoo and then incredibar. I know I need one, just not sure what one is better. Will wait for an answer before I put anything on. Corla
So far, so good. I will have to wait and check things out first. Should I put a pop up blocker on first and then surf around or wait until you tell me. Will wait and see what you have to say first. Corla
I use PanicWare free addition of course. Here's a link to it.

Post back and let me know how it's going. We can always do some cleanup, like scandisk and defrag.
:D Ok, I will go and put that on and then try the computer out for awhile and see what it does. I might not be back on till tomorrow, because it is getting late here. It is 11:00 P.M. and I am starting to get tired. Hope this is ok with you. I really do appreciate you helping me get this all together and hope I haven't troubled you too much. Thank You. Corla
 :D THANK YOU Mr. Tate, Whatever you did, WORKED. NO more about:blank and my machine is running great (for an oldie). Since working on this problem with you, I have learned alot of new things. My boxes pop off quick and to be honest, I cann't remember when that last happened. :D I am guarded for bear now. I have WinPatrol, SpyWareGuard, ZoneAlarm, SpywareBlaster, AdawareSEPersonal, Sppybot, and I had to put the Google tool bar on because I couldn't get the one you let me know about. For some reason it just would not download right, but maybe later. Probably my machine. I am planning to get a Dell later, but for now grateful to have this one. When something tries to get on, WinPatrol and SpywareGuard are the first to warn me. I just got done with cleaning the machine yesterday. I did the disk defrag, etc. I have it all set to run on schedule now too. I appreciate your help more than you will ever know and I THANK YOU a million times over. If I have forgotten to do anything else or I need to do something more, just let me know. I will be watching to see if you write back. THANK YOU Mr. Tate :D  Corla
GREAT job Corla :D Looks like you have everything you need to keep the baddies away  The Google Toolbar works well also. We've tried so many things, I couldn't tell you which one or ones did the job but at this point, who cares :D You are more then welcome. If you have any problems you just come back here and we'll solve it together :D Take care and have safe holiday's :wavey: Glad we were able to help :D
