have tried and tried but cant get this hijacked browser back
ran spy bot adaware norton

here is the log, I have tried to delete the first 8 browser setting even in safe mode and no luck, keep coming back. when you open IE it goes to a page run be Best Search U.

Download then unzip and run CWShredder to clean up clicking "FIX" to have it remove all it finds.

We have found that some of the CWS infections can be removed better from safe mode, rather than normal mode.
To get to safe mode use the F8 key while booting the machine. Detailed instructions from here :-

Then post another log.
I ran cws shredder in safe mode but it didnt find anything that I could see. Hear is the new log.

The following have randomly named file names, and as such are normally malware.
UNLESS you know what they are, and they are from a safe source, follow their process tree.
Right click on the file and go to Properties. Then go to the Version tab to see what company name it's from:
If it's from some name you never heard of or if it's blank, please check for removal also.

The following activeX controls( Download Program Files)will reinstall when(and if) you revisit that website,
UNLESS you know they are from a safe source, check to remove.


Reboot afterwards in SAFE MODE. If you don't know how click here
Delete the following file(s) and folder(s) listed
(do a search for this one.c:\windows\system32.)

Some of these files and folders might have the hidden atribute

Then Download System Security Suite. Extract it from the zip file into a folder.

Under "items to clear" click all. Then click "clear selected items"

Reboot and Rescan with HJT and post a new log here.
Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
