Hiya Hiya,

First time poster and wannabe tech poser… lol, not really. Truth is, I am lost. I have cable internet but it runs like crapola. I also am an avid Everquester (awaits the imminent bemoanings of those who have a life unlike myself who does not :D ), but we have frequent link death issues as well as some new screen freezing problems. Got a new vid card that I installed myself though I am sure I miffed it up somehow as is my usual pattern, GeForce FX 5500 256mb ram, but everything is still crap.. lol… ANYWAY… here's the log file, help before before "going postal" no longer describes my actions :P

C:\WINDOWS\bxxs5.dll

Some of these files and folders might have the hidden atribute
How to show hidden files and folders in Windows Instructions here

Then Download System Security Suite. Extract it from the zip file into a folder.
http://www.igorshpak.net/software/3ssetup104.zip
Under "items to clear" click all. Then click "clear selected items"

Done and continued with 3S download…

"Then Download System Security Suite. Extract it from the zip file into a folder.

Under "items to clear" click all. Then click "clear selected items"

Now when you say "click all" are you referring to placing checks in ALL of the boxes that are under the "items to clear" tab?

edit:
I am assuming such is the case and continuing with instructions

Performance Assesment:
Web surfing in the AOL browser (blech right?.. lol) seems to have improved. Seems to be performing as a cable connection should. Additional concerns include periodic screen flashing (not at the moment) as well as gaming issues with Everquest in that I have experienced frequent link deaths as well as screen freezes (at times not recovering at all) and screen flashes.
