Click here to download CWShredder by Merijn Bellekom and run it, hit 'fix' as opposed to 'scan only'. Reboot when done.

Click here to download Spybot Search & Destroy - install, update, scan and fix all RED items it finds. Reboot when done.

Click here to download Ad-Aware SE and install. Before scanning click on "check for updates now" to make sure you have the latest reference file. Click "Start", select "Perform Full System scan" and "Next" to start the scan. When the scan is finished, the screen will tell you if anything has been found, click "Next". The bad files will be listed, right click the pane and click "Select all objects" - this will put a check mark in the box at the side, click "Next" again and click "OK" at the prompt "# objects will be removed. Continue?".

Reboot when done. Rescan with HJT and post a new log here so that any remnants can be removed manually.
First, Many Thanks for all your help.
I ran CW shredder - I keep getting a message about some items are in memoery can can't be removed - reboot and run CW again, which I have done 4 times.
I still get the same message.

Next I ran Spybot Search and destroy - It keeps saying 4 itenms could not be fixed do I want to run spybot at next start up, I say yes, but still it persists.
I also got a message during the first SB scan saying:
C:\windows\msknwrd.dll & addyu.ddl are not vaild windoes images.

I ran Adaware and fixed everything it found.

Also, I'm now getting About.blank when I open explorer. (I was not getting this before)

New HJT log.

Click here to download Pocket Killbox by Option^Explicit. Extract it from the zip file then double-click on Killbox.exe to run it. In the 'Full Path of File to Delete' box, copy and paste the following, clicking the red 'Delete File' button after pasting each one:

C:\Program Files\eScorcher\eScorcher.exe
C:\WINDOWS\System32\supporter5.exe

Click 'Exit' when done.

If you receive a message such as: "Component 'MsComCtl.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid." when trying to run TheKillbox, click here to download and run missingfilesetup.exe. Then try TheKillbox again.

Open TheKillbox again, click File, Open!Submit and you will see a folder bearing the date that you used TheKillbox - zip it up and send to [removed] including a link to this thread in the body of the email.

Make sure that you have no other browser windows open as this could prevent the fix from working properly. Open HijackThis, scan and when complete, remove the following entries by checking the box to the left and clicking 'fixed checked':

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [eScorcher] C:\Program Files\eScorcher\eScorcher.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [supporter5] C:\WINDOWS\System32\supporter5.exe

Reboot, rescan with HJT and post a new log for a final check over.
THANK YOU. A few quick notes:
After running Killbox, it let me delete the first file:
C:\Program Files\eScorcher\eScorcher.exe
But could not find the second one:

C:\WINDOWS\System32\supporter5.exe
I checked in the above path and did not see it listed.
Also,
"Open TheKillbox again, click File, Open!Submit and you will see a folder bearing the date that you used TheKillbox - zip it up and send to [removed] including a link to this thread in the body of the email. "
All I see is an icon that says esorcher. You want me to zip that and send it?
At any rate things are MUCH better and I have my google home page back.
Why do I have and do I need so many of these?
C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe

Here's a fresh HJT
