Hi 49erman, Welcome to TomCoyote.
I do see what looks like a trojan, and one orphan we will remove later. Please do this:
Download, install and update, then make sure you configure the programs as suggested in the link. Run the programs as suggested allowing them to remove anything they locate.
http://www.cjwd.demon.co.uk/spybot-adaware.html
Please note you might want to print the instructions and that you will only need to do this configuration once as it will also be used in future scans.
Please note the free Spybot 1.3 does have a slight bug…it detects some DSO exploits falsely. Hopefully an upgrade will fix this. The problem is not serious and should not deter people from using Spybot.
Then please run these two online scans allowing them to remove anything located. Please suspend your AV during the scans so they won't conflict. Then scan and post a fresh HijackThis log.

49erman, I would like to know the result of the Ad-aware scan and the Spybot S&D scan that you were to download, update and run from this link:
http://www.cjwd.demon.co.uk/spybot-adaware.html
I would also like to know if the two online scans located any items for removal. I am looking at your new log and I can see no evidence that Spybot S&D was installed. It would look like this in your log.
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {53707962-6F74-2D53-2644-206D7942484F} - C:\Program Files\Spybot\SDHelper.dll
Your feedback is important as you are my eyes and I must know you are following directions. If you have not downloaded Ad-aware and Spybot S&D, updated and run these two programs, please do so, rebooting between the programs, then post a new log. Thanks…pskelley
Thats funny, I have both installed let me uninstall them and reinstall then repost. I have always had both of these applications installed on my computer sorry for the inconvinience. The Pc cillin scan did remove several objects however the Panda did not find any. I will repost with the new log.
OK 49erman, I do apologize but I am dealing with a lot of folks and all differect levels of understanding. When you post the new log, I will remove anything left at that point, and give you some good advice for staying clean in the future. How is SP2 working out for you? It should be of a great help with security.
Let me know of any issues you are experiencing when you post the log. Thanks…pskelley
I totally understand your frustration. I have reinstalled both adaware and spybot, ran them both with a reboot in betwween as well as running the online scans again. This time panda found and corrected one file and house call found none. I rebooted and then ran hi jack this. Here is the logs for adaware and hi jack this

So far I like service pack 2, microsoft sent me the beta and i have not had any problems with it what so ever. I also have ie spyad installed with all the restricted sites. Thanks again for your help.
49erman, I rarely use the Ad-aware scan but perhaps I should. These items are in System Restore and as such are protected files and can't be modified. They look like this in that scan:
Object : C:\System Volume Information\_restore{981BE312-72E4-4FEC-9FC4-B4B84B88D702}\RP94\
The word RESTORE being the key word. I would like you to purge the restore files by turning it off and on. Here are the exact instructions:
MANUAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SYSTEM RESTORE
1. Turn off System Restore.
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
Check Turn off System Restore.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
2. Reboot.
3. Turn ON System Restore,
On the Desktop, right-click My Computer.
Click Properties.
Click the System Restore tab.
UN-Check *Turn off System Restore*.
Click Apply, and then click OK.
When you scan with Ad-aware and you are having it remove all it finds, it places it in quarantine. Would you empty the quarantine file, open Ad-aware and highlite each line then click on delete. Make sure you delete all temporary internet files. If you have questions as to how to do this, let me know. If you will look at that log, from the end of running processes, starting with BargainBuddy down is stuff that has been removed and needs to be deleted. Also dump you recycle bin to make sure nothing is in there. After you have purged System Restore and cleared Ad-aware's quarantine, post another Ad-aware log for us both to look at. I will be online for another hour or so to help you work on this. The HijackThis log looks clean. Thanks…pskelley
Ok followed your instructions, purged system resotre, cleared quaruntine list, deleted files in recycle bin, and cleared temp files. Here is the new log. Thanks again for all your help.

Whoa, Did you look at that Ad-aware log. All of the bad stuff is gone. It was in a safe position and could only have gotten back on your system by error. But much better is removed. You did a great job, and should be very proud. I would appreciate it if you would post one more HJT log for a final check. Give me a little time as I must post for clearance and that depends on how long it takes someone to view the post. Thanks…pskelley
Yes I feel better that it was removed thank you for taking that extra step. Thank you for all of your help you definitely know the tools for combating all of this malware and spyware garbage. Thank you for all your time. Here is my HJT log:

49erman, We are almost there. I spotted this item in your running processes, and it was not there before. If you are aware of what it is, post to let me know, otherwise it will be removed. It looks like this in the Running Processes portion of the HijackThis log: C:\DOCUME~1\Justin\LOCALS~1\Temp\~e5d141.tmp
I am preparing a post for approval that will remove these items, as it is there twice, and give you final instructions for staying clean and the all clear. As soon as the post is approved, I will post it for you. Thanks…pskelley
49erman, You log looks good now, except for two new items that just showed up. Unless you specifically know what these items are, we will remove them. They look like this in your log:
C:\DOCUME~1\Justin\LOCALS~1\Temp\~e5d141.tmp
Depress Ctrl, Alt and Delete at the same time, OR right click on the taskbar and choose Task Manager. Click on the Processes tab and locate the item. Then end process, if this item is showing twice in Processes, end process on both items. Windows will not allow us to remove it while it is running.
Close the Task Manager, then RIGHT click on Start, then choose Explore. Using the tree to your left, locate and delete this file NOT the folder.
C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS~1\Justin\LOCALS~1\Temp\
~e5d141.tmp
Then, please empty the recycle bin and reboot. In fact, our classroom experts are concerned there might be a hidden file involved. What we would like you to do is reboot at least four times, then post a new HijackThis log.
In the meantime, you can also proceed with the all clear information below. I will be notified when you post your log after the four reboots.
Here are the All Clear instructions.

The file C:\Documents and Settings\Justin\Local Settings\Temp\THI3A71.tmp\preInMPP.exe is a Adware threat.
