Howdy,
Got a couple autoruns (04) in my registry that I am unable to ID (xmkkhz.exe & tbkjr.exe). I also am unsure of a running process, that runs when I am logged on, named IEXPLORE.EXE whose file I have manually located in Windows/System32. File for xmkkhz.exe is found in System32 as a MS DOS shortcut, but I am unable to locate any file for tbkjr.exe. Here is my logfile from HJT. I would greatly appreciate your analysis and suggestions.
note: I have, and use, Ad-aware PE's latest version and SpywareBlaster in addition to HJT.

Excellent work!!!

All the known malware is gone from the log!!!

Now about this:

IEXPLORE file in windows\system32

We can go several routes.

There are certain virus/trojan infections that put a file of that name, in that folder. You can try these online virus scans to see if they find/remove anything:

Trend-Micro:
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp

Panda:
http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/

Etrust:
http://www3.ca.com/securityadvisor/virusinfo/scan.aspx

Choose fix or clean.

Let them remove any infections found. Reboot inbetween each scan.

Then "copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.

You can go here:

Kaspersky Online Virus Checker
And submit it for a virus check.

Or you can simply navigate to that file, put your cursor on it, and post back the data in the box that pops up on the screen (file size, creation date, etc.). If we detemine it's "no good", we can try just deleting it manually.

Personally, I'd like to see you try the online virus scans first, then the online virus check (if the file passes the other tests). Hijack This! won't detect every "crawling nasty" on a machine. :)
Micah 6:8, my bad…IEXPLORE.EXE was located in C:\Windows\Prefetch, not System32. I believe it to be legit, in that its creation date corresponds with my windows service pack installation. I thank you again for your time and expertise. Out for now. Peace, Mete ;) (Luke 6:38)
Great!!!!

You're "good to go"!!!

GOD bless!!!!

M68 :)

Items you may wish to consider to harden your defenses against future infections:

Read "How did I get infected in the first place?" here:

http://boards.cexx.org/viewtopic.php?t=957

Download IE-Spyad here:

https://netfiles.uiuc.edu/ehowes/www/resource.htm

IE-Spyad puts over 4000 known malicious web sites into IE's "restricted zone" to help prevent you from getting infected.

Check your browser settings here:

http://browsercheck.qualys.com/index.php

A series of "tests" (and suggested fixes) to help tweak IE's settings to help prevent infections when surfing the web.

Follow safe Internet practices:

1. Keep your virus definitions up to date, and scan your system regularly.

2. Don't open email, or download attachments from unrecognized email addresses.

3. Be careful when downloading email attachments, EVEN FROM PEOPLE YOU KNOW! Many virii, worms, and trojans infect a persons system then immeadiately spread themselves to the people in the infected persons addressbook via email attachments.

4. Be careful downloading files from the Internet. Scan all downloaded files with a reliable UP-TO-DATE antivirus program. Scan "zip" files BEFORE unzipping, and scan all unzipped files BEFORE USING THEM.

5. Keep your Windows and IE current with all the latest patches and updates.
