Hello everyone. Hope all is going well with everyone's system these days :D . Well here is the deal, my system started to slowly slow down on me and my ISP connection is half of what it used to be. I contacted dell about the modem and they couldnt really give me any answers. So I started researching a .oxc file that was not downloading to my sys directory while I tried to download my current system configuration at the Dell website. While looking I came across, Spyware, Trojans, Hijacked, ETC. After reading for a few hrs I went ahead and downloaded HijackThis and as a result it gave me the listings of what is posted in the hijacked list post. I just connected to the internet and find it CRAZY that I could have possibly invited a INFECTION into my system. I currently am up to date with my Norton Anti Virus, but I am unsure of what to do about this sistuation. I have also read about CWshedder, and STARTUP list now, DO I DOWNLOAD THESE AS WELL?? This whole issue just confuses me…It is all just so new! And I thought I was pretty intouch with tings of this nature. If anyone could assist me I would sure appreciate it.
