I have done what I can with SpyBot SD, Ad-Aware, and Norton AV. I am sure there are still problems because of the owners surfing habits. Please help me finish the clean up. Hijack This log to follow.

Hello there, thank you for being patient.

First of all could you uninstall New.Net by going to add/remove programs if you are unable to uninstall it then follow the instructions here When you have done this can you disable system restore see here and do an online virus scan here. It may also be an idea to download the 30 day trial of Trojan Hunter see here and run it.

When done can you reboot and post a fresh hijack log… there will be more to do!
Thanks for helping me. I have done everything you asked so far. Here is the newest log.

You have Spybots Teatimer running, could you disable it for now by right clicking on the icon in your taskbar and closing it. If we leave it running then it will resist the changes we will need make to your system. If you have to reboot at any time in the following process then you will need to turn it off again.

First of all can you go to add/remove programs and uninstall TV Media and Navisearch.

Then download CWShredder from here, extract it into its own folder and run it following the prompts. Make sure you click 'fix' as opposed to 'scan only'

You also have a Peper infection, click here to download the PeperFix tool, save it to your desktop, doubleclick on it, click 'Find and Fix' and reboot if prompted.

Then, run hijackthis again, make sure all browsers and windows are closed including this one, put a check against the following and click 'fix checked'

thanks.
The last few items are hanging on for grim death it seems! :( This time I want you to boot into safe mode, then disable Tea Timer if it is running by right clicking the icon in the task bar and closing it. Then run hijackthis again and fix the following like you did before O2 - BHO: CATLEvents Object - {3EC8E271-FAB9-418a-8A8E-65AEB4029E64} - C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\litupa.dat O2 - BHO: (no name) - {AEECBFDA-12FA-4881-BDCE-8C3E1CE4B344} - (no file) O2 - BHO: (no name) - {CE188402-6EE7-4022-8868-AB25173A3E14} - (no file) O2 - BHO: (no name) - {E8EAEB34-F7B5-4C55-87FF-720FAF53D841} - (no file) O2 - BHO: (no name) - {F4E04583-354E-4076-BE7D-ED6A80FD66DA} - (no file) Go to start > run Enter: cleanmgr Make sure the following are checked: Temporary Internet files Recycle Bin Temporary Files Click OK Then reboot and post a fresh log for review please
Tenacious little buggers aren't they? I noticed they were still showing up on the log and figured you would have me do this. I won't be able to get to it until later today. thanks
I made three attempts to fix them in safe mode and two attempts in normal. For the third attemp I removed SpyBot first. And was not successful.

So I went into the registry to see if I could find them in there. I was able to find the second BHO in the list using the find command. Should I just find them and delet them from the registry via regedit?
Additionally, while looking in the registry I noticed that CashBack and NaviSearch are still listed (HKLM\SOFTWARE\). Should I delet them from the registry too?

here is the log - -

Those registry entries will just be orphan ones, if you are comfortable editing the registry then go ahead, but make sure you make a back up first.

Boot into safe mode again and search for this file;

C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\litupa.dat

If you can find it then delete it, then run hijackthis again and fix this line

O2 - BHO: CATLEvents Object - {3EC8E271-FAB9-418a-8A8E-65AEB4029E64} - C:\DOCUME~1\Owner\LOCALS~1\Temp\litupa.dat

Boot back to normal mode… and let me know if that did the trick
