Please Scan with Spybot Search and Destroy:
Downloaded and Install Spybot S&D, accepting the Default Settings
In the Menu Bar at the top of the Spybot window you will see 'Mode'. Make certain that 'default mode' has a check mark beside it.
Close ALL windows except Spybot S&D
Click the button to ‘Search for Updates’ and download and install the Updates.
Next click the button ‘Check for Problems’
When Spybot is complete, it will be showing ‘RED’ (RED) entries ‘BLACK’ entries and ‘GREEN’ (GREEN) entries in the window
Make certain there is a check mark beside all of the RED (RED) entries ONLY.
Choose ‘Fix Selected Problems’ and allow Spybot to fix the RED (RED) entries.
REBOOT to complete the scan.

Close all Browser and Program Windows and have HijackThis fix the following by checking the box beside each and then clicking on Fix checked.
O4 - Global Startup: Microsoft Find Fast.lnk = C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\FINDFAST.EXE{not necessary and resource hog}

Complete utter waste of space! Part of MS Office - searches disk drives for
Office file types and creates an index to make opening them easier


Reboot afterwards in SAFE MODE. If you don't know how click here
Delete the following files and folder listed
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\FINDFAST.EXE<<

I was sort of hoping there might be something in there that I might be able to remove to speed up the machine!     


Now that you have Spybot, Start Spybot click mode make sure that advanced mode is checked.
Click tools>system startup to the right is a double arrow bar click it to expand.
Now clicking on the value you will get a discription of command line.
Remove the green check mark on the ones in the database status that are not "Typically not required"
Should you decide that you need or want them just place a checkmark back in the box.
Any of unknown status can be unchecked one by one, rechecking anytime you think you need them
reboot, this completes the change.
