I have spent $35 with Microsoft, $50 on anti-virus software, $30 on spyware remover, $10 on an internet site with the "supposable" answer, and nothing has worked....please help me.
After I close my internet (sbc yahoo, dial-up), I get a pop-up box that reads:
rasautou.exe - application error
The instruction at "0x00000000" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not "read". Click on ok to terminate the program.
So, I click ok. Then about two seconds later, the internet sign-on screen pops back up by itself. When I try to close that, with the x in the right corner, the above pop-up box appears again. It's a never ending circle of pop-ups. I have to try and beat the pop-ups to even get my computer to shut down.
I have read one of the previous forums from the tech guys and it showed a Hijack This log. So, that's what I've done.
