Always,
Terri Lynne
Well since I have posted this message… I have had to restart my computer 3 times……. the internet will only stay up for like 10 minutes at a time….. everytime before it goes down…. 4 little black boxes pop up on my screen…. but are so fast in closing that I can not see what they say….. almost looks like a small DOS window….. The comptuer works great when not on internet……
Ok….. for anyone interested in reading.. Have had to restart my computer about 6 more times since the 2nd post I made…. This last time….. I stopped a process from running….. but I forgot what process it was…… lol.. sorry…. I think it was something like. win32sub or something like that……. and actually my computer has been running just fine. of course that has just been like 10 minutes… but the other times it would stop the internet after like 3 mintues……. Any help would be greatly appreciated….. I figure I must confuse everyone for noone to answer….. or everyone could just be very busy… Thanks again for reading…… :)

hello again TerriLynne,

i was wondering how things where going with you!

ok look in add/remove programs for
New.net Application or New.net Domains and uninstall it.
——————————————
next download and run ad aware (free for home users):
http://www.lavasoft.de/

click on "Check For Updates Now", download updates.

to configure ad aware:

- Under Ad-aware 6 > Settings (Gear at the top) > Tweaks > Scanning Engine:
check: "Unload recognized processes during scanning."

Scanning > activate these: "Scan within archives", "Scan active processes", "Scan registry", "Deep scan registry", "Scan my IE Favorites for banned sites" and "Scan my Hosts file"

Tweaks > Cleaning Engine: activate these: "Automatically try to unregister objects prior to deletion" and "Let Windows remove files in use after reboot."

Press "Scan Now"

- Check option "Use Custom scanning options"
- Check option "Activate In-Depth Scan"
- Press "Select drives\folders to scan"
- Select the active partition which is usually C:

Now press "Next" to let Ad-aware scan your drives…
It will find a number of "bad" files and registry keys. Click 'Next' again
Right-click in that pane and choose "select all"

If it finds "bad" files and registry keys, press "Next" again
It will ask you whether you'd like to remove all checked items. Click OK.

Finally, close Ad-Aware, and reboot
———————————————————————————————–
also– Spybot - Search & Destroy from http://security.kolla.de

to configure:
After installing first press "Online", click on "Search for Updates", then select all updates. Beside the download button there is a little down-pointed arrow, which gives you a choice of several download sites; select one of the servers listed (the Australian server usually works well). Now, press "Download Updates." If that site doesn't work or you get an error message, try a different server.

When the updates are finished, close your browser and ALL WINDOWS EXCEPT THE ONE SPYBOT IS RUNNING IN, then press 'Check for Problems'; THE SCAN WILL TAKE SEVERAL MINUTES. Have SpyBot remove all it finds THAT ARE MARKED IN RED. When it's finished, REBOOT your system.

these two will help clean your computer up, afterwards post a new HJT log and we will get whats left………..shelf life
Hello Shelf Life,

Thank you again for your help… After doing what you said. I have a "RUNDLL ERRORLOADING in C?/PROGRAM~InEWDT!/NEWDOT~2.DLL" and that little pop up is drivin me crazy…….

Anyhoo…… here is my new HJT log……..

Always,
Terri Lynne
