Download then unzip and run CWShredder to clean up clicking "FIX" to have it remove all it finds.

CWShredder available from these places :-

http://www.zerosrealm.com/downloads.php
Or this as a full download without any unzipping required
http://www.downloads.subratam.org/CWShredder.exe

We have found that some of the CWS infections can be removed better from safe mode, rather than normal mode.
To get to safe mode use the F8 key while booting the machine. Detailed instructions from here :-

When HijackThis is on your Desktop it will save the backups as Icons and can be confused with your other programs. It is best to have it in it's own folder.

1. Please go to you're 'My Documents' folder, right-click and select 'New > Folder' then name the folder 'HJT'.

2. Copy and paste HijackThis.exe to the new folder.

3. Close ALL windows except HJT

4. SCAN with HJT

5. POST the new log in this thread using 'Add Reply'

DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES OR CLICK "FIX CHECKED" UNTIL WE CHECK THE LOG, AS SOME OF THE FILES ARE LEGIT AND VITAL TO YOUR COMPUTER'S HEALTH

When you have done that, delete the copy of hijackthis that you have on your desktop.

And there is a newer of HijackThis1.98.2 Download it here
Please scan with this version.
My new Hijackthis log after running CWShresdder in Safe Mode.

Hello scrizzatch

You have one (or more) of these programs running on your machine and that is good.

Winpatrol
Spywareguard
Spybot s&d (Teatimer option)

But prior to doing the fix below with hijackthis they need to be turned off.
Please do the following.

Right click the running icon of spybot's teatimer, and choose exit.
Right click the running icon of winpatrol, and choose exit.
Right click the running icon of Spywareguard, it will open the program, Menu, file, exit, and confirm the programs close.

Unless they are turned off they could interfer with the fix by hijackthis.

Close all Browser and Program Windows and have HijackThis fix the following by checking the box beside each and then clicking on Fix checked.

Reboot in SAFE MODE. Close all Browser and Program Windows and have HijackThis fix the following by checking the box beside each and then clicking on Fix checked. O20 - AppInit_DLLs: C:\WINDOWS\System32\wdmnjej.dll Then delete wdmnjej.dll file
That enty did not show up when I ran Hijackthis in Safe Mode. I then couldn't find that file in my "system32" folder in Safe Mode. I restarted in normal mode, re-ran Hijackthis, fixed the entry you mentioned. Went to try to delete the file, and it wouldn't let me. It is still giving me the message from AVG about the trojan horse.
None of the online scans helped either. I finally moved the offensive .dll file to my desktop, renamed it, rebooted to safe mode, moved the file to the recycle bin, and emptied recycle bin. This seemed to have taken care of that problem. Thanks for all of your help. Steve
