Im desperate for someones help. I followed the directions that were given to another member which seemed to help him but unfortunatley did not solve my problem. Using Internet Explorer, wether I type in an address or use a link, I am re-directed to:
http://www.errorplace.com/red.php?c={8589A…rorplace&q;=ebay. There is also a Security warning box that pops up asking if I want to subscribe to the joystick enhancer and save money on online purchases. Media Motor is where its coming from. I think. If anyone can help please let me know what to do now. Completley frustrated at this point!!!

Close all Browser and Program Windows and have HijackThis fix the following by checking the box beside each and then clicking on Fix checked.

Reboot afterwards in SAFE MODE. If you don't know how click here
Delete the following files and folder listed

C:\Program Files\AutoUpdate\


Some of these files and folders might have the hidden atribute

Please empty all you temp folders. DO NOT DELETE THE FOLDERS ONLY THE CONTENTS.Instructions here

C:\Temp\ CONTENTS
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temp\ CONTENTS(one or two files may refuse to go, and you should leave them alone)
Also delete your Temporary Internet Files Tools>InternetOptions delete all cookies, files as well as offline files.


Reboot and Rescan with HJT and post a new log here.
Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.

Hello Little Eagle,
I could not find Auto Update anywhere. Is it possible its not there?
This log is with the newer version that you suggested.
My pc is acting up, when I click on a link, now it goes to "The page cannot
be displayed" instead of "errorplace", so we are making progress. Thank you for your help. PLease advise what I may do next? If any ideas.

:) Little Eagle, So far so good, I went back and started clicking on some of my Favorites links, and no "re-direction to errorplace" & no "page cannot be displayed". Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!! If you see anything else in the newest hi-jack this log that should be deleted please let me know.
